-1LB loss for me please Fred! :D Little bit surprised, must admit, but I made a very spicy chicken curry last night which got things moving (ahem :o) pretty early this morning which probably helped! :rotfl:

Well I have a job interview on Friday which the agency seem to think is a definite for me, they reckon they've sold me so well that the meeting is just a formality. Heard it all before but even OH is feeling confident, which is saying something! It's a 3-6 month contract but paying very well (as much as that other job was pro-rata) and I can do it on a self-employed basis so very tax efficient too. And the last 3-month contract I had lasted over 18 months! I've got lost of research to do before Friday (and very little time to do it in) as they want someone who can "hit the ground running" (cliche alert :D) so if all goes well I could be starting on Monday.

woo! go hezza! hope you enjoy the research. When I was looking for a job about 18 months ago, I really enjoyed all the interview prep - I was going for category management roles and doing category reviews on entirely new product areas which was exciting and fun - reminded me that actually, I'm pretty good at this!!

3.2 loss for this week :( below my weekly target if I am to hit my yearly target :(

I did a huge amount of physical activity on Sunday including a lot of heavy lifting, my calf's went rock solid and made walking difficult (odd since i use a treadmill) I wonder if muscle damage causes fluid retention?

Eric I only dream of losing that much each week!:T:T:T And yes muscle damage can cause fluid retention, it is the bodys way of protecting said muscle!

    Marion:)

its all relative, when your maintance calorie input is as massive as mine its easy to get 2500-3000 cal a day deficit.

Il see if I can print of one of the charts showing cal deficit from my little program :)
  • Hi all!

Congratulations to all the losers and STSers so far :T. STSers and gainers try not to lose heart :grouphug:

KPC - very pleased for you about Alfie! :D

Hezza - good luck with the interview!! (what is it you do?)

Eric - Can totally see what your saying, it must be so frustrating for you. But keep doing what you're doing, and try not to think too much about the big yearly goal at the moment.

I'm reporting a 1lb gain this week. Talk about yo-yo-ing! *tries to find a smiley with rolling eyes*. I need to get some better scales: mine are only accurate to the nearest lb which isn't really good enough. I could have been effectively an STS from last week to this for the amount of difference I might have had but there's no way to know. Perhaps I should get some of those scary duper duper body fat ones Eric mentioned last week. Hmm.

But anyway, it's my birthday today and the celebrations started on Saturday with friends cooking me dinner and then going out for drinks (I don't want to think about how many calories I had that day..!) and I'm going out for a meal tonight too. Will try not to go too mad though.

i made it smaller, i forget not everyone has a 24" monitor :p

here ya go, the bottom chart shows cals eaten (red) against maintenance cals (blue), note if you exercise it works out the cals used and adds them to the blue total hence not all the blues are the same length

    vidaone.jpg

It also gives me a breakdown of food by type, daily avg for past 30 days here, note protein is an appetite suppressant and I am hoping to put a lot of muscle (back) on hence the protein figure is high and will get higher with time.

oh and i said I am anal about recording stuff :p I love this program, really helps in staying focused.

STS for me. I honestly have no clue, been up all night with my DS who although is 13 still chooses to shout for his mammy whilst throwing up. Wonderful eh. So needless to say I forgot to weigh in
