Hi Mirry - I feel for you, Victory and anyone else having to cope with such severe medical conditions, I cant imagine what its like and I thank god for my good health every day (especially with what my MIL is going through at the moment). Hugs :grouphug: to you both.

Diet is going good today (slipped a bit yesterday then I was out of routine); been very busy running around today so not been thinking about food much, had shreddies with skimmed mik for brekky, then bacon & eggs for lunch; out swimming again tonight so not sure what I'm going to eat later (if at all). May just have a bowl of natural yoghurt with either blueberries or puffed oats. Drinking lots of decaf tea with skimmed milk.

How about you Mirry - moved onto Phase 2 yet? what do you think of the books?

Thanks for the chart fredsnail also well done mirry on being SOTW (I think you will have to let me know your secret...lol!) there have been some amazing losses this week, so well done to the rest of you as well!

I am feeling much better today, I had to give myself a kick up the bum and now I am being very strict with myself. I am not having cakes/chocolates etc anymore...which is obvious when you are trying to lose weight, but I thought a little treat a day wouldn't harm me, but it is clearly doing more harm than good..and plus it becomes more than little as I had little self control..so for now I will stick to healthier snacks and this weekend I will be good as I NEED to lose next week.

Keep up all the good work all, to the gainers..such as myself, we need to be very serious this week so that we don't get into the habit of gaining!! And to all those who are suffering and are not well, I hope you get better soon!

    Take care all xxx

It is such a lovely day today I decided to go for a little walk and was suprised that it only took me 45 mins but in the sun it was great to be outdoors. :D Even my little cat has been out enjoying the sunshine.

Well done Mirry on being SOTW :T let me know how the ice cream comes along. I have an ice cream maker so if it is good I would love to have a go too.

Hope everyone is feeling better today x

Thank you for all the sympathetic responses. Completely undeserved - when I think about some of the pain that friends on this thread put up with all the time mine is NOTHING. :o:o:o

Anyway it's much better today - not good enough to drive but was good enough to be presenting a course all day. The condition I seem to have is usually seen in middle aged men and very pregnant women ... as far as I can see I'm neither :rotfl:

Hi folks and well done Mirry for SoTw.

(THanks for the chart Fredsnail, yes was a 1lb loss for me thank you)
Not been the best of days exercise wise today, been travelling lots today checking out kitchens for our newly certified "dry" house!! Still managed 5k in steps so don't feel too bad, it's a lot more than I would have done before the start of the diet!

Had a really really really bad chocolate day today  - will get rid of the rest of the stuff - I will learn that if I buy any I will eat it all very quickly :o

Hope everyone else has been much better behaved than me (it really wouldn't be hard :p)

Hi everyone , Hezza bless you I think your mother in law puts my problems into perspective to be honest, how is she doing ?
I am doing ok on phase 2 , BUT today decided to have some 70% cocoa dark chocolate as a treat for being so good for 9 days. An hour after eating it I felt shakey and so so sick and ill, and still do. I dont understand it ? Do you think its the sugar hit thats made me like this ? I honestly feel like I never ever want to eat sugar ever again :(.

QT , I dont have any tips except when I was doing the phase 1 on the harcombe diet , I decided not to eat the 50g of brown rice each day that I was allowed, I just didnt fancy it. So think this helped the weight loss.
    Kindness costs nothing :)

Had a little chocolate and a flapjack today, I blame it on less than 3 hours sleep and no breakfast. Kinda glad I had it as we did a horrid running circuit at lunchtime (a Paarluf) and I felt like I had zero energy all the way round. Managed to have a fairly sensible lunch cous cous and mackerel (courtesy of a friend who gave me a tin of fish when I realised the snack pack of cous cous wasn't going to fill the gap) and then back on an even keel at dinner. Apparently tomorrow's circuit is in the swimming pool - usually find those okay (famous last words) and I need to get some running in this weekend which should help to make up for tomorrow night's meal out. I am determined to drink less red wine than usual!

On none LW feeling pretty daft as went to buy a couple of presents online only to realise I've left my wallet in work. Have tried to rememebr my card number but brain isn't cooperating obviously I need slightly more than three hours sleep to function and so on that note goodnight all.
