I made cupcakes yesterday, and decorated them, wasn't even tempted to have any! Made sure my financ! took them to work today though, just incaseAnd some of his work colleagues have asked if I can bake them some! Chuffed about that.
I'll have to get practicing with my decorating skills, ooft
Even more that we have in common then! I absolutely love baking (hence the username) and atleast once a week send OH off to work laden with tins of cupcakes/cakes etc. It's at the stage now where OH's colleagues are requesting I bake certain things for them. Thank goodness they like cake so much - they're doing my waistline a HUGE favour!

Eric, what a star you are! Well done, youdeserve both the accolades. You've worked really hard at it, and the thread has really benefitted from your contributions.
OK now im blushing, Still in the easy bit really, if it goes like the other times it will get hard in a month or two.
The truth thou is that some things are very hard still, for the life of me I still have this delusional mental image of myself, its like anti anorexia, i just don't see myself as an amorphous bloband other things like the out of control eating, I didn't realise how bad the on the way home snacks where till i actually typed it out on here. Still many skeletons in the closet that are hard to face...
For some reason I have the desire to eat cup cakes :EasterBun0 -
Snowing here too.
Had a big bar of chocolate today,

To everyone who asked about my pgce: I'm not too sure what im going to do right now, apply for a whole load of jobs to do with kids and hope I get something. Ideally I would like a full time teaching assistant post (but a lot are part time) and then work on the school to take me on the next year as a trainee teacher for a year which would qualify me to teach that way. Will apply again for the pgce aswell tho, I so want to be a primary school teacher I absolutely love my time working in schools getting to know the kids and helping them progress so I really hope I get there eventually, one way or another.
Sary: if your son and his gf want to apply for a pgce as a back up then good luck to them for trying, but it really isnt an easy thing to get on and hundreds of people who are extremely passionate about teaching as a career and have put in 2/3 days a week voluntary in schools throughout their degrees in preparation for their interview still get turned down at every uni in the country! That said best to apply to less popular/northern uni's as opposed to going for london ones like i did - the more popular the location the more applications and less chance of getting on.
Food today has consisted of a carvery and some chocolate...hmmm. Did eat lots of veg at the carvery tho, so well done me there0 -
Doesn't the Doreen swimsuit seem a bit old to you guys? Or am I deluding myself into believing that i'm still young? For me it's got to be a one piece, but Matalan still have some very nice and supportive ones for us larger ladies. Although the last one I got was a wee bit too low cut. Made the mistake of wearing it to aqua aerobics one night. Bet the men in the jacuzzi were getting a right eyeful! :rotfl:
Seems I'm on late shift for the rest of the week, so it's just going to be a matter of getting organised and sorting out my sleeping pattern again. Body is too used to getting up at 5 even if the brain wants to sleep a couple of hours later.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -

Vixstar - matalan is good if you want an appropriate swimming costume for exercise. When i first started going to aqua aerobics (where i used to live) i wore a tankini...boobs nearly flew out and shorts kept trying to work their way down to my ankles! Got a black stomach control one (not through specific choice, just what was there) and found that it is very good at strapping everything down so you can get on with it. Have also had a nice brown halterneck beach one from there, so def worth a look if you have a larger store. Alternatively i have got tankinis from sainsburys the last couple of years which are nice so also worth a look there.0
