Many thanks for all the work Fred
  • thats a bummer dmv.

    great loses coming in!

heatherberry, I know EXACTLY where you are. I can't even bear to go and get my hair cut becasue the thought of looking at my fat face int he mirror for an hour makes me heave. But still i eat . . . .

although things are better than they were. I have forced myself out of hte house every day for over a week now to take a walk, even in the snow. So i feel like i'm doing SOMETHING good.

KPC - I forced myself to go :o but it wasn't a pleasant experience, having to sit look at my fat face for half an hour whilst she attempted to make me prettyful :rotfl:

Day 1 again for me. Am on late shift, which normally means I would pig out on crisps from vending machine at work. I still can't force myself to eat breakfast. So always wake up around 5, and if I'm on late shift, it's 2pm before I get home to have something good to eat. So the new me is at the ready, have a lovely roast pork and tomato roll made up for lunch :) Seems everytime the guy fills up the vending machine he puts an extra 5p on the price of things. McCoys were 40p a bag, have now risen to 60p in the last few months, so shall be MS too :D

I know what you are going through and its very difficult, I have pretty much been a recluse for many many years and apart from work I didn't go out anywhere ever, only friends i have are online in RPG games and email etc.

I just decided I had had enough and want to get my life back, I tried in Jan 2008 and managed to drop 70lbs in 6 months (only 15lbs to be there again now :T, still a literal mountain to go after that :p) but too much debt and tearing a muscle in my calf just caused me to give up...

I think you have to wake up and look at yourself in the mirror and accept who you are and then rather than hitting the choccy's and TV say that's it I have had enough being unhappy and I am going to do something about it :j I suspect many of us keep failing at loosing weight because we don't make the permanent lifestyle choices that are needed to keep the weight off (a little exercise and healthy eating) and because we don't deep down really want to do it for some reason.

Having the guys n gals here to talk to is great, there a big support :A

And I won a Tenner on the lotto last night, that's £35 this month :), which i have invested in a proper curling bar and some more free weights, rather than KFC...

i love fabs.. I used to buy 8 boxes when they where on BOGOF and then eat them all in one week, the shame of it :(

time for a blast on the treadmill before work
  • Well done on the lottery win Eric - I've only ever won £16 on a scratchcard but that was a long long time ago...Do you spend the winnings straight away or save it all up for a treat???!!!:D Inspired by MSE I've just started a £2 coin box this week (actually a bag) and I've already got £12 in it; it's my birthday in March so I'm hoping I'll have enough to buy myself a nice pressie come the day!

I've just unloaded my Ocado shop for this week, the van turned up half an hour early just as I was leaving the house the take my lad to school! He said he had another delivery to make in the area so would come back, but he was back 30 seconds after me so I'm convinced he drove around in circles for a while until I got home again!! Great service but cant help thinking its a waste of diesel.....

Now, does anyone else have to turn all the labels around on packets & tins in the cupboard so that they are all facing the same way? or is that just me....:o
