whats the game bananasplit?
i do wonder why they need the mirror in the hairdressers, i swear it's only there so they feel like they are looking at you when they are talking to you. And the lighting is so awful , i bet even helena bonham carter looks blotchy in front of it. any mum is visiting in a couple of weeks so i will ge her to have a hack at it like she did when i was young - i don't think i visited a hairdresser till i was 16! ILast time i went actually, it was quite refreshing, the stylist tld me that with my hair being as fine and straight as it is, the only style i'll ever really be able to go for is midlength all the way - no point in layers or anything else, it will jsut look flat no matter i do. So makes sense not to pay lots!0 -

I play Netball in the Superleague for Northern Thunder!
Hairdressers are awful. I love mine to death but hate the lighting and mirrors. Everyone always looks redder and spottier than they actually are :rotfl:0 -
morning everyone, day 2 for me and I am hanging in there.
I just had a early lunch cos I was starving.
I had chicken and stir fry veg with herbs followed by a natural yogurt.
Does the natural yogurt have to be low fat on the harcombe phase 1 ?
mines normal.
my energy levels seem a bit low today , is this normal ?
Well done for making it to day 2!!:D The yoghurt should be low fat, plain and preferably 'live' e.g. Bio. Flavoured yoghurts have sugar and added ingredients (especially if they are low fat) so best avoided as sugars are carbs.
When you get the book you'll find lots of explanations about Phase 1 and how you may feel, if you're feeling low then its probably your body compensating in some way. Hang in there!!£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

oh i seriously know what u mean about the lighting. They always seem to lift the back of my hair up at the back so i can see all the grey i've missed with the bottle too :rotfl:Usually ask my DD if i've got it all covered, but as soon as I sit in that hairdresser's chair i'm sure another dozen turn grey!4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

oh when I read the script for phase one it just said natural live yogurt.
So I thought because i was eating butter /olive oil that are fats thats why I could eat natural fat yogurt. I popped on the scales this morning after 24 hours :rotfl:. And I have had a loss already .

Thank you for the chart Fred.
Eric, what a star you are! Well done, youdeserve both the accolades. You've worked really hard at it, and the thread has really benefitted from your contributions.
I do the cupboard arranging too. As well as liking my towels folded 3 times (like they do on the shelves in John Lewis), colour co-ordinated wardrobe hanging, etc. An old friend of mine once said looking in my store cupboard freaked her out, and it was like a scene from the film 'Sleeping with the Enemy'! I like to think that it's merely 'home filing', and that way I know where things are. I have my tins in rows, so a line of fruit/dessert tins, a line of pasta, a line of beans, a line of soup, a line of tomatoes, a line of sauces. Like soldiers all in neat rows.
dmv - that really sucks about your course. What a pain, and what do you do now? My eldest son and his g/f have mentioned tacking a year's PGCE onto the end of their degree courses, as a fall-back plan, but it looks like it might not be necessarily that easy. My eldest should be going to uni this year, but is putting it off for 2 years to get better qualified for the course of his choice (I also didn't think he was mature enough to go yet). The over-subscription is a big worry for them.
I have been feeling very grotty this week, so have been very inactive. I'm monitoring what I'm eating, but it's been a bit too bread based, which I know bloats me, so will cut back for the w/end. Money is very tight, so it's making do with what we have for now. Needs must when the devil drives. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

miss_cupcake wrote: »Hi Natu - I'm a bit of a newbie around these parts too (although I've been a long time lurker!) and notice that our stats are quite similar. I'm 24 and 5'7", currently weigh 10st 10lbs but would like to get down to my ideal weight of 10st or below. Like you, the weight I'm currently at is the lightest I've been since my secondary school days. I think I'm generally quite good with a healthy diet/exercise, but ofcourse there's always room for improvement! Looking forward to reading your posts on here and maybe sharing advice
Ooh well done!I love finding old clothes from when I was in secondry school and finding they fit me better now than they ever did then! I definitely need a clear out though, aha.
I made cupcakes yesterday, and decorated them, wasn't even tempted to have any! Made sure my financ! took them to work today though, just incaseAnd some of his work colleagues have asked if I can bake them some! Chuffed about that.
I'll have to get practicing with my decorating skills, ooft0 -

Nothing wrong with the swimsuit per se, and if I was buying one for pool swimming I may consider it but not what I had in mind for by the side of the pool in summer (although it seems that what I had in mind and what is actually suitable for moving in a little are totally different things)0
