Sorry having probs with internet so can't comment on everyone else's posts but I'm sure there was something I wanted to reply to...it may come back to me.

Been good today a little portion of dry chips with lunch as there was no other option. Found a good way to avoid junk food - not having any cash to buy any (although this does tie in with the slightly more extreme not being able to go anywyere to draw any cash either). I don't want to try that long term but its helping with the munchies today. Tried a healthy snack - dried pineapple - turns out it contains a lot of extra sugar and tastes pretty odd.

Good morning, congratulations, commiserations and extra moral support to each one of you who needs it from another weight loss challenger who has been dietary challenged over the past week. :D

Because I'm also doing the 4k challenge and the grocery challenge on a very tight budget, plus trying to feed 2 out of 3 of our household to GAIN weight, my only hope is to eat what I normally eat but in smaller portions. But I've been doing extra baking and HS keeps producing sweets that I cannot bring myself to refuse, so the weight isn't exactly falling off me! The household scales aren't digital, so ounces or grams don't register. I haven't weighed in this week yet, but hope not to have gained anything. Will weigh in tomorrow, if that's alright. :)

Granny, Beanie :grouphug:As you know, self sabotage is VERY common, so first off, don't feel alone in this. Of course that doesn't help you stop doing it. The thing you both say is you don't know why it's happening - finding out will help you stop. Granny, for example, what comes up when you think of yourself as 'not fat' any more? Of course you don't need to tell us, just have a think or write it down for yourself. You might be surprised by the answers, but they will help you to understand how to move forward. Hope that helps a little :o (Happy to share my own discoveries if it helps.)

As for things with me, well, they're a little odd! I managed to weigh today but the results are simply wrong. I know this sounds like I'm in denial :rotfl:but actually the scales put me as only a coouple of kilos less than when I first arrived, and this can't be true as my trousers are literally falling down :D (and they're F@tFace ones, not Indian 'stretch every time you wear them' ones ;)). The scales had been reconfigured last time I weighed and seem to have been again, so I just don't think they're giving me an accurate weight. Oh well, I will keep trying to lose weight without actually knowing what I weigh!

    Good luck to everyone!

Vic, sorry to hear about your BiL. You're right, every day is for living x
