This week I have had TOTM, cold, sinus trouble and not felt like eating at all, weighed today and no loss but no gain so hey ho, not hungry, not eating, just feel blur:rolleyes::D and I had the flu jab, they offered me the swine flu jab but refused it, prob is being diabetic takes much longer to get over, then the boss rings up and tells me if I don't know all about section 4 (medicines, safe selling and how to deal with them with the pharmacist being there/not being there) by saturday my job is in trouble, I mean when you think about it I do one day a week so how am I supposed to know what the others know in such a short space of time of being on the job?
The contract says 3 months probation so better pull my socks up and OH says he may go abroad to work for 6 months

    Hi gang,

nice to see you again Bindi

This is just a quickie, to catch up. Busy few days here. OH has been summoned to a meeting next week, and it's not looking good. If he's still in a job by the end of next week we'll be very surprised :( So, talking about that and trying to figure out what we'll do has been a big priority.

Then, my 2nd eldest turned 16 today, so I've been organising that, and we took him out for the day today to spend his pennies.

In amongst it all I've been eating all the wrong things (chinese, cheesecake, banoffee tart, biscuits, white bread, etc), and far too much of it. I dunnno what it is with me at the mo, and I just feel a mixture of guilt for doing it, and self-loathing for knowing that it's affecting how I look. That in itself should be enough to make me take stock and change. TOTM arrived this morning, and it's been a bit of a killer, waking me up in the wee small hours with what felt like early labour pains! I've got a touch of cystitis too, and now think I'm going down with another cold. Flippin' marvellous how these things just all choose to come at ya in one fell swoop, and interestesting to note that other's are going through much the same.

Anyway, enough of the doom and gloom talk. I've vowed to make tomorrow Day 1, and will remind myself to have my cereal in the morning and to use my smaller plate for my meals. I know I can do it, I just need to be stronger and more resolute.

Well done to the losers so far. Perhaps a few of us are just stuck in the Doldrums and need a bit of a push in the right direction? I know I do.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Im putting down all this extra eating to the changing of the seasons. I've been eating like a trooper, going out to eat alot and generally eating rubbish which i can feel isnt doing me any good.

Bindi: Ouch! hope its not too painful anymore, burns hurt to hell.

Bails: im in sync with my best friend, i have been with most of them. Period wise. I came on today at 4pm at work, during a bra fit. Grr!! Everyone seems to be on right now.

Granny: Youre too kind! Someone of them are beyond help. I tell one lady about my knickers alot, she finds my stories funny. Shes a corker though, just like me really.

I went to a firework display last night, proper good! It just started to rain as the 20 min fireworks were over and we were all leaving. Such good timing.

    Im offski, ciao everyone

Good luck for OH for next week Sary; do you have a contingency plan?

If the seasons are the answer, what's my excuse then? I guess it is getting colder here... Actually, I think I've done surprsingly well considering OH is away - I usually fall off the wagon pretty hard when he's not around (from my past) and it's only been the last few days things have started to go downhill. I feel like saying, 'Okay, that's enough now, you can come back!' :rotfl::o

Anyway, here's hoping this new week is better for all of us x

  • another hand up to say i totally lost focus of the goal over the weekend. I have lots and lots of excuses, but no good reasons. IT is oh's birthday and he wanted to drink wine and eat pastry. I also made some courgette pickle which was lush but did have sugar in it. OH and hte lemon tart got me. We ate the lot on sat night. Was really impressed with it - it's a mix but once it was finished you'd never have known. I like to cook but I'd have never tackled a lemon tart on my own as pastry is like kryptonite to me.

    Day one today!!!!!!!

sary - thinking of you. rough time.
