Don't do it KPC that tart is trying to trick you (like my willpower would resist a tart!). Although did manage to refuse cake today, not as good as it sounds as there has been a lot of cake avaialable this week and no has not been in my vocabulary.

the only other thing is the kitchen ( which me and my dad are fitting) and the leccy - which my dad is doing.

Well done you - we did bits of our kitchen ourselves and OH mate did the rest (although in hindsight i wish we'd done it all ourselves). Can I borrow your dishwasher - we didn't have enough space for one (believe me i tried everything to fit one in) and

put the lemon tart down and step away!! it is a cake and starts with a c and is therefore evil:eek::eek::eek:
  • Katie - sounds like you've got it all worked out so I'm sure it will be fine. I demand a day-by-day account though so I can prove to OH that it will be worth all the hassle!! :D Perhaps you should start a new thread in the Arms and use it as a blog to keep us all up to date??? pretty please???

Oh and you do know that lemon tart is the work of the devil, don't you???

I feel awful today :( age concern picked me up a bit (surprisingly) Just remind me not to ask them all how they are because every time i get their life medical history.

Hezza: Taaaaaaaaaaake meeeeeeee! I so wanna go. I watched her in an interview the other day on about her marriage and stuff. She was saying that so much focus is put on the wedding day and a marriage is more than that. Quite true i thought.

DMV: Have a laugh! Although chineses are very filling, i hope you took the brushing of teeth option!

I went out for lunch today ha. I will never learn! Ive only had cereal for dinner though and im working 3 days on the trott now so i need to burn off some cals big time. I did alot of walking around town (which is really high impact, gets the heart rate going stuff) :p so that would have been about 10 calories gone.

Have a good weekend everyone :)

Yup VIX I went for the brushing my teeth option - I will do it more often when im having a craving (not that i was then but you know what i mean) as you really cant eat with a minty fresh mouth!

dmv like the teeth brushing tip.

Been out for a delicious Italian meal tonight. Don't think what I ate was too bad (or for the other meal I went to this week) but think my alcohol consumption may scupper any chances of a loss this week. Meeting friends for a pub lunch tomorrow but this won't involve alcohol as I'll have my car with me.
Haven't been great with the exercise this week but I MUST go for a run tomorrow.

I sold it to OH on the promise of a dishwasher, and a game of scrabble in the new kitchen.

Good luck with both extensions KPC ;) How exciting! I'd love an extension on the house if we stay where we are, or alternatively we could just buy the cottage I'm in love with

Still no WIs for me to see how I'm doing but I reckon if I walked far enough in a straight line my size 14 trousers would fall off :D Obviously this isn't something the locals would appreciate so just keep hoisting them up :D Thing is, I don't feel I look any different

Have a great weekend everyone! I've got a job interview early next week...:j

Good morning everyone, hope those concerned will enjoy concerts, meals out, special treats, walks and arrival of builders for kitchen extensions. :) It's not been the best of weeks here. It has been so cold and damp that I've been resorting to quick-make foods like fry-ups, curry & chips and puddings. Worse still, I have clean forgotten all about my own rule and was eating pastilles and liquorice allsorts in bed whilst watching telly!! MUST TRY HARDER! But I keep losing sight of exactly why? Anyone else ever have this problem? :o
