+2.2lbs!!!! I don't know where they've come from, its not TOTM and I've not gone over 1500 cals a day for the last week. Not happy.

Did you keep a food diary? It is easy to loose track of cals in drink, milk, sugar in teas etc it all adds up? Keeping a food diary of absolutely everything that passes your lips as well as drinks non alcoholic or alcoholic and also the odd boiled sweet here and there or a mint or a bit of someone elses dinner, just a mouthful, just to try it that kind of thing is the devil:rotfl::D

Yep I do keep a food diary on food focus and record absolutely everything, hence why I know I stayed within my limit. Well I now can account for the gain, my body has decided to have a TOTM take 2 as of this morning, which always puts about 2lbs on me.

  • Hi all!

I posted a couple of times last month then disappeared...but I'd like to come back please. So much for New Year's resolutions, I don't think I have lost any weight at all so far :o, and I know when I was reading this board every day I did feel more motivated so I'm going to jump right back in. Looking forward to getting to know you lovely people!

I have a question about the weigh in. Do we all have to weigh in on a Wednesday? It's just I think I'd prefer to do mine at the weekend, so could I post it on, say, a Saturday then would it be included on the chart the following Wednesday?

    Thanks!

  • wow fi! well done!

and yay beanie on your result. i used to use the rowing machine at the gym but ended up with the most horrible blisters on my hands so knocked it on the head. Hotel we're staying in this weekend has qa gym so i'll take some stuff and see if i can motivate myselft ogo at least once - at least then i'll feel I've balanced out hte eating! Victory, thats quite a good idea of your oh, setting a calorie target, i might try that.

Thanks for the charts fredsnail, your doing a great job!!

I am having a good day, I found that when I don't deny myself a little bit of something nice, it works better than when I deny myself and end up going mad and having it anyway in ridiculous portions...I guess it all about self control.

I am actually going to enrol in the gym next week, I didn't want to as I was feeling lazy etc, but it is the only way I will realistically exercise :j :j. I hope everyone is doing well, we CAN do this, if we continue and don't give up! Good on ya Fi for being SOTW. :T

Enjoy the rest of your day and make good choices everyone!

Finally managed to force myself out for a run. Feel great now.
  • Thanks for the chart Fredsnail :T and well done Fi on SOTW :T

Been to hemel hempstead today skiing on the indoor snow centre. Wow if only I could do that daily I would be a size 10 in no time. 2 hrs skiing is burning over 1000 calories. But trouble is I always feel starving afterwards.........
Back home to devon tomorrow and then I will have to see what I can arrange to cook for VD sunday.

Victory- don't be too hard on yourself about not reaching your target you have still done well.

Vixstar - congrats on the run you always feel better after exercise ( I do anyway)

    Heatherberry - welcome back :)

Pancake next week ladies and gents, bought some ready made from Sainsburys and was alarmed as I went to get 2 that each one was 137 cals:eek: decided to have just a bit and give the rest to the kids not wasting 137 cals on a pancake, not worth it:D

Victory, come on! Cant believe you buy it ready made!! Theyre more fun to make then they are to eat!
