  • great news hezza, how very thogutful of you! Peppop i really hope things pick up for your family. take care of your self.

thanks for the advice and kind thoughts peeps. I like victory's plan of not eating when there's noone in the house - i may have to try that ( but exclude actual meals). Sary, my oh is like yours - but sometimes that makes me feel worse, the more he insists I'm gorgeous, the more i think his eyesight must be going. I'm going to up my fruit and veg intake this week as my targetted thing.

and lol at haircuts, i haven't had mine done in over a year - i hate it. I hate sitting looking at myself in that mirror.

I did think about going to the doctors, but didnt want to be that fat person insisting that it wasn't their fault they were fat, it's their glands honest. i'll see how i go over the next week or so and perhaps try it.

thanks again, you all made me feel so much better, and it really helps to know that I'm not alone in feeling like this.xx

    hezza,vix,mazza,good luck with the interviews/job hunting:D

kpc hope you feel better about yourself today, you are never alone on this thread;)

bb they still have not noticed:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I watched a documentary once on the charity bags being left outside, instead of the charities having the chance to come round and pick them up it was other vans full of men (hoping to get nice contents and sell them) so now if I put it out I wait until after 9am when I know the scrap men/bag thieves have already been:D

My scales say I am 2lb lighter than last night, I am surely going to open a window and throw them out and watch them smash to pieces on the floor:rotfl:

I meant snacky stuff, see when you are on your own in the house it is easy just to pop to the kitchen for a little food then it mounts up, then it tastes good so you have more then before you know it your snacky bits and pieces have added on the cals and gone over the daily allowance and it was not even a filling meal:rotfl: meals are fine, can't stress enough planning in the kitchen now I have lunch and dinner for today all ready to go, know exactly what I am having when how much how many cals and while doing one day will do another day, either future freezing it or preparing it so it is ready to eat and no thought needed, if you don't have to think about what to eat it is easier, that and the food diary and never buying it in are my salvation over and over :D

  • hello all!

    feeling a bit de-moralised....
i know its agianst all weight loss rules, but i had asneaky peek on the scales today before the weigh in tomorrow, and they are reporting a 1lb gain!!!! i have never had a gain since startign this!! i thought he last week was fine, a few things here and there, but nothing extravagant and they dont ususally effect my weight loss with a gain!!! iam gutted!! so im going to properly go back to SW basics. i do write a food diary, but i think i might have to start publishing it on here to keep me in line. so sorry to bore you all with it, you dont have to read it. its more for my own punishment to keep me inline.

this morning ive had toast x2, quorn sausages x2, baked beans, FF yog and a cup of tea (with bit of healthy a milk)
big breakfast to keep me filled up......

good luck with everyone looking for a job. a good few of my friends are going through very similar situations. one has had to borrow £500 from his parents just to pay the rent, its been that bad. thank god they could give it to him!! so much sympathy and empathy. you just have to keep going!!

right, now to do the hour walk into uni and NOT the bus.......

    take care all xx
shift the bulge! - 54lb lost so far :j .....alot more to go......
  • just realised how silly that all sounded about a potential 1lb gain. at the end of the day, i havent worked hard enough.

    xx

    Hey all,

Just reporting my 2lb gain this week :eek::eek:, shame on me, I know why its because I ate really bad really bad and kept on eating, so I know that this has to stop. So next week WILL be different, it has to be!!

    QT :o
  • kpc - we didn't suggest going to gp for your weight but for your tiredness. Now I know itis not impossible for the 2 to be linked but that is for a dr to decide. As QT said - she needed more iron and can now o something about that. Thyroid canalso casue problems.
Glad you feeling a little better anyhoos xx

Rosie - it's ok to have a mini self rant. And it is really good that just 1lb on has made you think you have to go back to basics a bit, rather than let it slide further. Are you ading up syns? You've had ull fat yog - do did you count that? ounds a good filling brekkie though. I've just ha quorn buger and scrambled egg.

-1lb off today - that is for a second week running:j. Fred, could you alter the chart so it shows a total of 2lbs lost please (i.e. effectively showing that I statrt again 2 weekes ago. Thanks a lot.

ah mazza - the grey bits. Yup, get colour done too. I should do it myself for financial reasons but hate doing it so still pay someone else.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

I am not on the sheet but I just wanted to let everyone know, that 1,5 weeks in Germany (Business Meeting) threw me back nearly 2 kg. Way to much food (all free ;-)) and a beer here and there didnt help at all. Though I am back to the weight I have been before I went over. Strict diet and plenty running and Wii Fit Plus :j

Any ideas to tackle my tummy? Thats my main concern :(

Apart from that, I think I am def on the right track!

  • thaks guys, you're right bb, it's not beyond the realms of possibility, but i've got that mindset where I won't go to the doctors unless i've actually dropped dead already. I have set myself a target of eating more fruit and veg, and drinking more water. I'm going to bed and getting up at broadly the same time too, so if i'm not feeling less tired in 3 weeks i will make an appointment. Which i would never have considered before so thanks for the push!

got an amazing deal at the cityinn at bristol for this weekend for oh's lrp fair. would have been even better if i'd gone to them direct and not used late rooms, but never mind.
