grannynise wrote: »Kpc - sorry you are so down. Try to remember how it felt before when you were eating healthily. Maybe instead of thinking about ‘going without’ you can put a positive spin on it? Otherwise, just try not to do too much damage and wait for your mood to change. If it’s any comfort I can relate to most of what you say in your post, and it seems as if so can everyone else. It's February - maybe we'll all feel better in March?
KPC and everyone else that's in the same boat - I know exactly how that feels and I've spent long periods being in exactly that situation. I've somehow found my motivation this year, but it's so difficult to pass it on to someone else - wouldn't it be great if it was as contagious as a cold! I remember many times, reading this thread and being amazed at the amount of exercise people do, the amount of weight people manage to lose and wanting to be the same, but it doesn't work.
Clothes are my motivator - when I look in the mirror and hate what I see, when I go shopping and there's nothing available in my size, or nothing I'd want to wear - then I remind myself of the clothes in the wardrobe that are too small, and the lovely clothes I could buy if I were smaller. That's what's working at the moment.
It's different for everyone, but as Grannynise says, try not to get too downhearted, things will be better in the spring.

I thought I was having a good day until I realised I can taste GINGER SNAPS!! How did that sneak into my mouth along with my cup of tea
No seriously I have had the click and have been eating much better. I don't think it will show on the scales tomorrow (especially after a weekend of takeaways) but onwards and downwards...0 -
PepPop - yep its amazing how biccies can just climb into your mouth sometimes isn't it?? We have a packet of the new chocolate Oreos in the cupboard at the mo which I bought cos the kids love 'em, the only thing stopping me from tucking in is the fact that the kids would kill me if I "nicked" any!!:D
My DD bought 2 packets of lindor mini choccy eggs in o'tescs today and has just given me a packet - she's a darlin'! will save them for after my weigh-in tomorrow hehehe! I'm going to be spending the day at home (mostly) tomorrow so I can get my essay written but that wont stop me having my promised glass of wine tonight while I'm working on it..... oh the evil spells we weave....:p£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

Eric - I think this is the time for ahealthy low fat snack - otherwise the risk is deprevation will make you crack and eat carp.
That's what I like about SW - you are not allowed to be hungry - it means you are not eating enough:D
KPC - that's in my diary then. Check back with you in 3 weeks.
Good to hear from you Lois:TI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
