Victory - what a horrible situation to be in. :( When exactly are you going to have time to study for a HCA NVQ when you are only contracted to work 8hrs per week??????
As a Senior Manager in the NHS, I have to say if any of my staff were being treated as you appear to be by supervising and other senior staff, I am pretty sure a case for constructive dismisal would be winging it's way across my desk.
Good luck.........get a copy of that contract from HR and then tackle this bullying (because that is what this type of behaviour amounts to) as soon as you can.

alliwant - I hope your mum is okay and making good progress towards her recovery.

Vixarooni - "take care on that cross trainer of yours" I had one and over indulged one evening - rupturing both my achilles tendons and needed 3 months physio!:rotfl:

Good Luck everyone for weigh in this week :T

But at the end of the day unfortunatly Im not sure Victoty has any rights as she has not been employed more than 2 years.
    Victory~when did you start?
I would be wary of the 3 month trial period.

Dreading the WI this week. Pretty sure last week has caught up with me + TOTM is looming. Although had a nasty tummy bug which will cancel it out I hope.

Funeral is tomorrow. Going to try avoid going for the meal afterwards as I wanna try and stay off the booze for a few weeks to try n shift some of this belly. As many of u know, i do enjoy one or two (haha) on a saturday night. No doubt at the funeral it will be a steak pie lunch too. Mega fattening. So have decided to do the service and avoid the pub. Feel rather mature and sensible now.

Had an appalling week this week foodwise - was my birthday last week and since then it's none stop bad food for no reason at all :o:( lots of cheese and chocolate.

Tomorrow is another day - must get back into the swing of it. :j and give myself a big kick up the backside.

Victory - you need to start looking elsewhere me thinks - it will be easier for you to get a job while you're in post as such. Would your supervisor give you a reference which would mean you can bypass Mr Personality.

Alliwant - I hope you're Mum's well on the mend now, and that things can settle down for you again.

  • victory, have you thought about asking him if you can have a official disciplinary? and then once it's done it's done and you can state your case that you weren't confident about what you were doing and were doing something you hadn't been trianed for?

alliwantistosave I'm sorry to hear what happened to your Mum :( I wish her well in her recovery. Hope all goes well with your health check up.

Victory, might it be worth posting on the employment board if you haven't already? I'm sure there are some HR professionals there, perhaps they could help?

QT2006 - how did it go last night?!

    mazza111 hope today goes OK.

Hope everyone else is doing fine and having a good start to the week :)

Last week I managed 103km cycling & 27km running, plus swimming & diving :D. I'm pleased with how the exercise is going but I didn't have the best week foodwise. Did some baking with my son to use up a few storecupboard bits & pieces, had a couple more treats than usual etc. I decided I would rather see a STS or tiny gain this month, than have good food go to waste :)

This week has started better, did a long cycle (51km off road) yesterday, and back under my calorie allowance!

Good luck with weigh ins everyone! :D

    Hi everyone,

mazza- hope all goes well today, chin up and try and try and stay off the booze even tho it's hard (its all calories)

Missy- I feel so ashamed of myself :( I didn't go yesterday....I really wanted to and was determined, but by the end of the day I didn't feel up to it. Plus it starts at 7pm and I got home at 6pm and I really need to eat dinner, so I did and thought I would get stiches if I went to exercise 40 mins later...so shame on me..

However I do have good news, at weigh in this morning I have lost 2lbs again...I am well chuffed :j...and more appreciative, especially because I was bad one the weekend!

Have a great day all xxx
  • well done QT!

I went to a burns night supper last night so was a bit naughty - but I didn't eat the enire portion of raspberry cranachan I was given and didn't drink so damage limitation there!
