I'm pleased to report a loss of 1.75 lbs, making my total weight loss half a stone. Superman isn't doing so well, he's had a gain of 0.75 lbs, meaning his total loss is now 6.5 lbs, and putting me in the lead

Hi all, been 'away' for the last 3 weeks so haven't had time to catch up with approx 20 pages of posts!! Been feeling quite low for the last couple of weeks, what with snow screwing up my life one way or another (kids off school, pressure to be working, escalating childcare costs as a result, no exercise) plus lack of progress on the job search front, my head just hasn't been in the right place at all, in fact it's been all over the place.....
Still, instead of feeling sorry for myself I'm determined to pull myself out of this "funk" and get back on track with weight loss, job search, kids etc etc etc - starting with my first post on here for 3 weeks!!Since Jan 1 and my 5lb gain over Xmas I have lost a total of ....... drum roll......2 pounds!! :rolleyes: still a loss is loss so I can't complain. Getting back in the pool tonight and DD is asking if we can sign up for the Swimathon this year, which at our pool will be in April, so I have some time to get some fitness back.

reporting a 1lb loss which im failry astonished with as its my TOTM. but hey, im taking it! Im the middle of exams at the mo, i have 2 HUGE ones tomorrow, so not the happiest bunny, but it will all be over soon.... chin up and all that!

I have a tough week ahead. Going away for work. The Hotel is meant to have a gym, hope its a decent one. 1 week no weighting possible, i guess.
Need to keep an eye on my eating behaviour and taking my running shoes with me0 -

My bad weekend is catching up with me too so I'm only going to report a STS too, altho' there's actually more damage than that, but I'm beggared if I'll report it this early in the game!One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

I was on the bus this morning before 9am to go to the boots sale and a little one no more than 2 was being fed by his mum red liquorice with the white stuff inside it, another child was being fed a packet of crisps and a can of coke and then later on another child in a pushchair what looked like a chocolate slice cake, all before 9am makes you wonder doesn't it?:rolleyes:0

Hi everyone,
Going to push on with house stuff now (had an exam yesterday so everythings been on the backburner and its doing my head in!) so will catch up later, but reporting another annoying sts for me please. Food has been average this week so was hoping a bit of the xmas gain would come off but no. Still have been shopping for my parsnip and butternut squash (i think thats what it is?!will have to check) soup which is nice and sweet and only just over a 100cals a tin, plus its 2 of my 5 a day which must help! So will be back to strict cereal and soup during the day and try to strike the balance between healthy, cheap and quick dinners! Tonight will be a small amount of pasta with ham and a load of sweetcorn tossed through it. Tiny bit of tomato and garlic puree to stop it being "dry". Will have some well seasoned wilted spinach on the side. Im really not a veg person so im trying!
