Granny, thank you sooo much for putting 1lb on too
. Damn decent of you to make sure I didn't feel completely out of it.
Victory -yes, do a will - vital. We have used the Sm1ths simple version and it seemed straight forward.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Also how do i join the weight loss board where you record all the weight loss?
I've added you on to the chart so just post your loss next Wednesday.
Here's this weeks chart:
Congrats to all the sts and losers and special congratulations to Alliwantistosave our SOTW
If I've made any errors just let me know via pm and I'll correct the chart for next week.
Good luck for the next week everyone :beer:0 -

And those few of us who haven't quite managed a loss or a zero well we tried (a bit) and we'll try a bit harder next week.
Please could someone tell me what a burpee is before Vix pops up and gives us her version? I've just eaten and she may be rather too graphic in an imaginative way.
And I still can't find the confused smiley. I've looked down the back of the sofa AND under the bed in the fluff.
A burpee is hard to describe you bend your knees put you hands to the ground and then thrust both of your legs back (so you are in a push up position) then you bring your legs back in and jump up... umm sounds easy but when you gotta do 20 of them one after another it is well hard!
Thanks for the chart fred and congrats to the SOTW0 -
Woah went awol for one day and 2 pages of posts to catch up on.
Well done all u losers.
We decided we would go out and drown our sorrows last night as i've decided I'm not going to the wake on Tuesday after the funeral. So skipped dinner last night in favour of a bottle of Glayva, until the pub run out  Came home and managed to make a great big pot of macaroni cheese? Dunno why, no one was hungry. But that's what I had for my breakfast, so not a good start to the day.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
Morning:D the confused smiley must have gone out of favour:rolleyes: going to book to go to Spain this morning if the flights are cheap enough as I have just been told I get 35 hours a year hol but can't take it all at once and considering I only work 2 days a week most weeks 35 hours is great so off to trawl easyjet:D0

That's perfectly normal. Your body weight fluctuates daily, and during a day. The key is to choose a day and time each week to weigh-in, and stick to just that. Sometimes you can totally demotivate yourself by 'peeking' beforehand. I weigh in on Wednesday morning, as soon as I've woken up after going to the loo, and before getting dressed (every piece of clothing counts!).
Granny and BB, you're not alone, I have gained this week too, but wasn't as brave as you guys and couldn't bear to put it on the chart. Maybe that's me in denial? *insert confused smiley* <<< see we really need it on this thread, bring it back!!
Anyway, I was sat here last night feeling really fed-up with myself, and it's all because of gaining weight again, and just feeling like a lump. So, I have given myself a virtual kick up the backside (now there's an idea for a smiley), and had a firm talk to myself that only I can do this, and I know how to do it, and it's all about making bad choices, and allowing myself to eat foods I know I shouldn't. Whether I'm just being lazy, or am eating for emotional reasons I'm not sure. I'm not a highly emotional person, so find that hard to define, but it has to be part of my problem.
Granny - here's a burpee. I didn't have a clue what it was either: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MGljX4bbpsOne day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
sary mine used to be boredom, being at home alone with not a lot to do which made me eat, not because I was hungry or needed it or it was time to eat within the insulin, no just because it was there, to do something, now I have identified it the reason for the over eating I do something about it, I can feel it coming on, if I know I have a home day ahead of me or a long day or an uninteresting day I don't turn to food anymore, I go stubborn within myself and refuse to eat until it is the alloted time for lunch or dinner etc, I go and so something else, anything, cleaning, hoovering,go on the internet, write, sort out the paperwork, ring my sis, go out, the garden, paint a wall anything that takes the mind of being sitting down thinking of what is in the kitchen that and there is nothing tempting anymore helps enormously, I always win in the end and it does pass and I feel proud of myself I did not give in as I used to.:D
I never used to eat for emotional reasons, being upset always makes me clean, sulk, write it down on the computer, have a bath, do the kids homework, play lego with the youngest, it has not been the problem what has is too much time alone, boredom but it can be overcome:D0 -

liking the confused smiley!
Fred you didn't put me on a sts please can you add it for next week? i hope i'll have a loss to go with it.
24 is showing in the US - they're up to episode 4 now. I won't spoil itfor anyone, but it hasn't lost anything, it's still fab! Jack looking all healthy and hunky and not haggard at all. I suspect this may change as the hours roll by.0
