Well peeps I am off to barbados now because the lottery checker says I have won the princely sum of £10 on the lottery having got 3 numbers right and now I can easily afford to go or is that I can afford just the b? for barbados and not all of it:rotfl: wow £10 what will I do with it ? Probably by bread, milk and cigs:rotfl: the way everyone was buying up the bread, milk and cereal at the co-op because of the snow you would think it was staying for a month not a few days:rotfl: all the roads are severely iced up now and it took OH 6 hours and 15 mins to get home on a hour journey, he is proper shattered now:rolleyes:0

awwww {{{hugz}}} Victory. Hope you're feeling better this morning hon.
LoL at your winnings. As for the bread and milk scenario. Who said it's only gonna last a few days, they told us that 3 weeks ago. Now into our 4th week!! When I seen it snowing again yesterday I could have cried lol

WELL we had it for a week straight in december and on xmas day itself nothing shame for the kids and then now so we had clear then again, schools closed and I have insisted OH stays home today after his car scenario last night and so far he has agreed:D0

Thanks for the chart FS, and congrats on being SOTW :T
Hezza, do you still get paid even though you don't go in and have to look after the kids? If so, I'd give her the full amount. If not, I'd have a chat with her and suggest 50%. If you think she is looking a bit 'off' about it you could quickly change your mind back to the 100% - but at least she would understand that you have also lost pay. If she's a 'good un' that is worth the odd payment even when she hasn't had to do the child care.
Victory, hope you're feeling better. Don't forget your 'friends' now that you've won the lottery, stay grounded
Beanie, good luck at the dentist, hope it goes okay.
Fi, hello :hello:
Really fed up with the snow, will have a 4 mile hike later to sort the horse out - good for the fitness and weight loss though. I've been really good this week and am hoping to have lost at least 2lb by Saturday (my weigh in).

fred SOTW? - FIX!!! You'll be buying a duck house next:D
Congrats , and thanks for the chart.
I feel really wet not going to work today. Normally a 20 min walk which includes the biggest hill in B. Haven't even tried as I susect it would tucker me out just getting there, let alone ice risk. Means no pay though & probably the same tomorrow.
Victory - hope you are feeling a wee bit better now.
Beanie - Hope you make the dentist in one piece.
Welcome more newbies Chon & Fi:jI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

BB I've never understood the positions of the two hospitals in Brighton, not very handy if they had to transport patients between the 2 in the snow
At least Queensway and Freshfield Road are normally well gritted, or they used to be anyhoo

:EasterBun
Granny - I hope you're enjoying your snow day - snow angels in the garden?? :snow_grin You made the safest choice, we're not bad at all here but I still managed to slid on black ice trying to stop at lights this morning in queue of traffic   so dread to think what you all have to contend with. Stay safe.
