well i have weighed myself and since 2nd november i have lost no more weight but i am still the same weight i was then! I did put a bit back on so at least i have lost that again!

so as it stands today i am 14st 4lbs which is great considering i have just got through xmas day! I do owe a bit of it to the winter vommitting bug that i got the last monday as i couldnt eat properly for a few days:o

i managed to put on 1 lb in the 2 weeks before xmas still keeping to my diet. but since xmas eve ive lost 2lbs eating lots of rubbish:confused:
the only explaination is that my body was in "starvation" mode and when i started eating normal food it lost that 2 weeks work of weight.
has this happened to anyone before?

  • I am newly engaged as of Christmas morning and have been posting on MSE for longer than I care to remember but it's my first time in this forum so Hello

I haven't booked my venue yet but we are looking for either the last Saturday in September or the first 2 Saturdays of October 2010. And I would like to lose 3 stone and 9lbs before that date! (currently 14stone 9lbs)

I wasn't planning on any diet in particular - I've done Weight watchers before which worked for me but instead I have joined a running club and I've entered a 26.2K run in March (The UK Kilomathon); The Scottish Half Marathon at the end of May and the Great North Run on September 19th!

congratulations on the engagement, and wow, that is serious commitment to losing weight!

i was pleased to find when i got on scales today that i have actually lost 1lb over last couple of weeks, so am glad i havent put huge amount on over xmas, though to be honest continuing ongoing illness has meant i havent been eating much anyway.

what is everyone doing for exercise? my new fave thing is just dance on the wii - seriously, its much better than wii fit if you let yourself really get into it and play full length songs. we had a ball over xmas bouncing around like loones - even though i cant dance and my 8 yr old neice beat me many times!

really want to do some toning exercises for my arms, and for my tummy, but tummy so bad at mo i couldnt possibly do sit ups - any suggestions?

hope everyone had a lovely xmas, and has found lots of wedding bargains in the sales like me! and hope u all have a lovely new year - volunteer to drive if your going out - alchol has got to be the biggest diet killer ever!!

Its been few weeks since this was updated so thought i would drag it back to the top;)

I put on a fair bit of weight the last few weeks but have lost it again all bar 2 lbs. so 14st 6lb as of this morning ! new target to be 14st by 7th feb... i seem to be struggling to get down past the 14st mark.!!!

i wanted to be at least under the 14st for my first measuring for my dress but have decided to bite bullet and just go get it done or she will never get it made in time!!

so come on ladies how are you all doing?

I've been thinking about joining Slimming World, as the class is nearer to me than the WW classes.

Have any of you lovely ladies ever done SW and how did you find it?
