Just an update from me. Back out jogging tonight after nearly 2 weeks off due to OH hurting back and both of us being away with work last week.

    Was flipping freezing out tonight!!!

    hey everyone,

quick update for me, i have lost 2lb this week and am soooo happy as has been a tough start for my weight loss. one thing i thought id mention incase anyone else is thinking about this, i had my contraceptive implant out 2 weeks ago as i felt it had caused me to put on lots of weight. - the 3 weeks prior to this i had been on my diet and had lost virtually nothing despite really trying hard, so last week i ate terribly, and just maintained, this week i have eaten better - but have still not worked as hard as the first few weeks of dieting. So i feel the implant was definately having a negative effect - now im not saying that it has caused me to loose weight, but maybe it just stops body from thinking i need to store fat so much?? and the big difference is in hunger/appetite - now after the first week of dieting the really bad hunger pains eased off, but i was still snacking a lot, just on the right things, but this week i swear to god my hunger has halved - i am eating smaller portions (obviously!) but the need for mid afternoon snack etc has gone out the window. Just thought id share as i strongly believe the implant has had an effect. And the fact that i have lost weight now will give me the boost to eat better next week and stick to the diet and hopefully see a loss again next week.

Thought we should also share our tips for helping us stick to our diets so heres one of mine - options hot chocolate!! im sure this wont work for everyone, but most of the time when i have choc cravings this really deals with it.

Hows everyone else done this week/coping with the impending xmas parties/meals situations?
