Yes! I can see why she loves it. I would LOVE to be doing that right now!

I doubt I'd be as fearless as I was pre-kids - that is the last time I went skiing - about 7 years ago :( - but with a crash helmet on.....

I'll add it to my list of cosmic requests ;)

    *Phew* for the laptop!

I was thinking of a bit of cosmic ordering last night but I think the list is too long, mind you look at Noel Edmonds......

I'm always reluctant to ask for too much - I feel like it's bad karma - or perhaps it's just deep rooted Catholic guilt?! :o

    A perfectly reasonable request I reckon :D

How long has it taken you to pay of 30k LT???

i had my proper LBM in march 06. It did flicker Mid 2005 but then i started spending again, and though i reached march 06 owing less it wasn't by much.
thankfully my debt busting has speeded up in the past year/18 months otherwise i would still be struggling along at a snails pace like in the early days. Only got until Sept 11 which is 3 months before my self set target DF Date and probably about 9 years ahead of what it was when i first joined here.

You have done brilliantly LT - I'm sure you've changed massively!

As i mentioned on Hypno's thread, I had a surprise visit from some old friends today who emigrated years ago. It was so good to see them!

They showed me pics of their house which is palatial and had many tales of their wonderful life. Although making that move is not for me, I started thinking about how they got there.

They have always watched every penny and gone without for years to save for things, so they truly deserve what they've got and I'm delighted for them.

That's what got me to the Cosmic Ordering. There are things I want to achieve, but I don't have a clear, definite plan or goal. So how the hell will I get there if I don't know what the dream is? I don't want life to pass me by and look back with regret that I wasted time.........So my next mission will be to sort that out!

(Sorry, I have had a couple of glasses of vino :o I'll shut up now :D)

this Cosmic Ordering sounds interesting. My only targets at the moment are to be house hunting next summer and debt free before the end of 2011, and hopefully it will be sept 2011

    Good morning!

Woke up with a fuzzy head as I was awake half the night. So it was a bit of a shock to see the blanket of snow  When will it ever end? I did watch some more of the Winter Olympics though, I'm really enjoying it - can't wait for the Mens skiing today.

Anyway, today will be a busy and productive day. I'm on a mission to sort the house and sort my life! :j

I need to sign and post my mortgage app and sort out my pension.

£1.20 won on the scratches this morning, so edging closer to payout.

Have a good day if you're reading :)
