whereas my DD asked "now that you and dad aren't together, do I get the house when you die? How much is it worth, and have you got life insurance?"

    Bless :rotfl:

Oh yes I've had a similar conversation with DH a few years ago. I was explaining the need for Life Assurance now we had dependants "....and you'll get £x if I die"

He started going all misty eyed, rabbiting on about buying a camper van and touring across America, stopping off in all little towns etc along the way!

I reminded him that I would be dead and surely he'd be grieving???? He said (unconvincingly) "Oh, yeah...."

Hmmmm, I've just been in stitches on IMD's thread, saying how callous her OH over the pets and that she's scared he'll have her put down if she needs an expensive op! :rotfl:

I've just had a telling off for trying to constantly to be a good force against evil at work. OH is always trying to help me, by pointing out my faults and how I need to "play the game" :(

He said "Your values of dignity and integrity mean NOTHING!" So I asked him what he saw in me, he said "I like your values"
    I give up.

I think your 5 year old is very clever to spell out such a sentence - my son is five and can only spell P O O ................often!

At least they don't want you to die...when my oldest was little he asked

"when you and dad die can Louise and John be my new mum and dad???"

I was heart broken , I shall definately be putting a bath photo in the paper when he is 18 as revenge!
