Good Evening
Tonight the effects of spilling a glass of wine over my computer have become apparent. The swish little effect that lights up the keyboard, now only lights up in the middle section : 6,7,8,t,y,u,g,h,j,b and n - ooops!
I've also had a bit of an Epiphany at work. I need to move on. It makes me very sad to have to contemplate, but I'm left with no other option
Just seen a dream of a job, but it's about 250 miles away and DH gave me a solemn shake of the head when I half-jokingly mentioned upping sticks and moving!0 -
You ok? Bad day at work or culmination of things? I thought I was going to have move work before xmas and amazingly things have turned around. I have been contacted about a job in the Lake District with a view to relocating - I'd love to move there, all thos fantastic hills but OH shook his head as well..........these men!

Keyboards and MSE - that's about all that works here!
The work thing is something I've been avoiding, but have had to face up to today. I'll be looking to move within the year, but am going to get ready soon and start putting the feelers out. Sadly the pool is quite small, so it may take some time....
A move to the Lakes sounds idyllic :A Pesky men!!!
BTW any more developments with "grannygate"? I daren't broach it on your thread0 -
I have left it in OH's hands to deal with.........have made plans for DS to do some clubs which reduces time spent until we can sort it out....

Good Morning!
I've been awake for a while, so decided to start the day early. 3 inches of snow have fallen overnight, so I'll need to set off early anyway to dig the car out!
Payday tomorrow, so I am going to attack the finances this evening. I want to see if I can make a big dent in the debt this month. So the Ebaying / Amazoning will be full steam ahead!
I'm feeling full of gusto and strangely positive, like I'm on the eve of a new chapter - exciting!
Have a good day if you're reading0 -
I hope that the early start doesn't mean you hit a brick wall later on in the day and that the gusto and positivity continues looong into the futureSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. That's a very early start  We had snow overnight but it seems to have melted much to everyone's delight as I am truly pig sick of it now.

Hello! Still here and feeling full of energy - so I'm going with it while it lasts
Today has been a mixed day. It's been productive, but my very dear friend is leaving this week. We've worked really well together, despite being very different people, so I'm very sad that she is going
We had a frank discussion the other day, which has really made me confront a few things at work and helped me decide that I need to move on.
I think that's why I feel so charged up - now I have a clear plan - something to work towards, but conversely I feel quite calm....
Tomorrow is payday and I also have my day's holiday. I'm going to sort some paperwork, get things in order, draft a new CV and get on with some moneymaking too. There's so much to do, that a day to myself is not enough, but I'll make a start at least.
Won £5 on the scratchies this morning :j, so requested £12 :T
Hope you've had a good day too!0
