:hello: Hello!
The kids are at my Mum's overnight :j So rather than the romantic evening I had planned OH has gone for a run
I told him not to roll his eyes when he gets home and sees me on the laptop
Just watching the Women's downhill - ouch, so many fallers. Those ladies have nerves of steel - the course looks tougher than the men's! (though I would love a go)
I did have to laugh at the french lady (Rolland - or "Ro-land" as DH christened her, as she was quite chunky) who barely made it out of the start before she fell over. Bless, at least no-one has been hurt.
Went out for a leaving lunch today, so spent £12I almost bought a lucky dip on my way home as I'm so Pee'd off with work, but resisted :A
No other money to report. Hope all's well with you0 -

The old jog! :rotfl: Well..............not really
:o:o
I went once at the weekend, then had a bad day on Sunday, so ate loads of rubbish to make myself "feel better" (why??), then felt really sluggish (plus hormonal), so haven't been out.
Any excuse
I did promise myself I'd go this morning. The baby next door woke at 5am and I thought it was one of mine until I remembered they weren't here. Then I couldn't get back to sleep as my head is buzzing about work.
Think I need to come to some agreement with myself about how I'm going to play it. I love my job and am good at it, but what I am not good at is playing the political game. I hate game playing and BS, but realise it's part and parcel of it - I find that rather depressing.
Anyway, I'll see how things go over the next month or so. I probably just need to get my head down and lay low. I'm not prepared to kiss *rse to get on, so will have to let my work do the talking....... *sigh - just need that lotto win *
Sorry for the rant! Off to get my running gear on0 -
Well, did you go...........

Yep! All thanks to your friendly nudge :A:A:A
I only went for 30 mins, but I'm happy with that as I feel great now and am more motivated to go out again tomorrow. :j
This morning I was working and now the girls and I are curled up watching Hannah Montana DVDs - well, they are
It's not the best half-term activity, but it's cold and wet outside, so will do for the next hour or so, then we might make some Salt Dough :money:0 -
