    Hello

First day of the school holidays survived and even went for a run first thing! :T

We and 2 other friends with their children, visited another friend and her children.
Lunch, followed by girly chats while the kids ran amock :D. Then a walk to the park, tired them all out and back for more coffee and cake! Bliss
A lovely day was had by all - especially me, as I managed an NSD! :j

£20.10 in the bank today from Ebay, other than that - nothing to report.

I like this not-working mullarky! Hope you've had a good day if you reading :)

Good morning, snowing here - again.

We're on our way to the dentist this morning for check ups, then going to buy some eggs and lemons for pancakes!!!

Other than that, I'm hoping for a cheap day today. We are going to paint (pictures - not the house sadly) and make salt dough. After being at my friend's yesterday, who made every morsel we ate (yes she is a SAHM), I felt inspired to do some baking and making while I'm off - as I'm back at work tomorrow :(

    Have a good day :)

Just updated my sig and I'm delighted to announce I'm FINALLY under £18,000!!! Yaaaay!!!!
    :j:j:j:j:j:j

A small milestone, but it feels like I'm slowly moving in the right direction.

Next month my MOT is due, as is the car tax, so I'll have to get selling if I'm to avoid going overdrawn
I've paid off £200 of the £320 I spent on Mum's party in December. It's not in my sig, but at least I know I've not frittered this month and have managed to live within my means :T

I'm trying to scale down the amount of time I'm on here, as I'm getting grief from DH. He never tells me what to do or anything like that, but it's causing a rift that I always have my nose in the laptop whenever he walks in :(

Anyhow, enough of that. I will keep posting, as without all the support and ideas from the lovely MSE'ers, my debt would definitely be on the increase.
I just won't be hanging around so much ;)

Same here!!! He just tuts..and I have noticed I am getting cross with him for not remmbering things I have told him.....then later I realise I actually wrote it on here!

I am lucky (unlucky) in that he workds shifts...so I get time to browse, but when he is home I need to spend more time talking to him!!

i'm doing the same as well, trying not to spend the whole evening on here every night. infact twice in the last 7 days i've not even logged on to do my free scratch cards which i should do at the very least.
congratulations for getting under £18k. I should be getting into the £18k's on my next payday but i've just realised that at the same time i've reached the £30k paid off stage, which is just making my jaw drop! I just feel sick now with how long it's taken, how much i've paid off and how much debt i got myself into.
  • Me three!! OH is lovely but I've been coming home from work and spending all night on here, not good for our relationship! Although when I'm not on here I do slip financially so there's a balancing act to be done!

Glad to hear all's ok and well done on the sub £18k :j

    You've done brilliantly LT :T

Before I "came out" (finally) on here, I reckon I'd already paid off £20k myself :o - so I know what you mean about the sick feeling.

Thanks for the words of support :A Hope you're all well x
