You are a sweetheart Hopeful - Thanks :A
Hope you are all well! Glad it's the weekend :j I intend to have a lazy one
My meeting went well yesterday which is a relief, then I went for a bite to eat with a friend, so that rounded the day off nicely.
I'm not back at work until Wednesday and am only in for that day! Whoopeeeee!!! :j:j:j
I had to nip into work this morning (as I have stuff to do this weekend), and then went shopping
I bought a jacket with what I thought was a £40 voucher but turned out to be a £10 one when I got to the till.
I was too embarrassed to say I didn't want it (because I really did - but might have to take it back).
That's about it really, 35p on scratches today and the £82.89 landed from Amazon :T
Hope you have a good weekend

You've got more time off than me, but I've got NO KIDS so I think I win the prizeSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

You certainly do!
Mind you, I also have the following Thursday off - all to myself :j
And as if that weren't blissful enough - it's also Payday!
(Though I'm planning a painting / cleaning / decluttering day of course....)0 -

I had to laugh at that, that's exactly what i'd do! Silly really isn't it. What sort of jacket is it?
That's good you've got some time off to look forward to. Are the kids on half term? My DS1 is and has asked to go to a footie academy for 2 hrs everyday. Where he gets the energy i've no idea! At least i don't have to worry about planning something everyday, particularly with the baby being so little.
Am going to have to put the fire on it is so chilly here! One step at a time0 -
Hi Hopeful, I ended up going to bed early to stay warm last night - it's freezing here too (reminding me that we need new windows )
The jacket is navy with cream trim and lovely red and cream stripey lining, in line with all the French / Paris trend that's happening right now. Oh La La!
Yes, DD1 is off next week until a week on Tuesday. So I've got 3 days off next week and am keeping little DD off nursery for 3 days.
We're planning to meet up with friends on Monday, the girls are going to nursery/ Out of School Club on Wednesday while I'm at work and my Mum's having them on Thursday. I haven't even started thinking about Summer holiday cover yet......
35p on scratchies this morning. I "lost" £2 of my winnings last night, while trying to win on the Valentine's scratches - when will I ever learn?
Off for a run later, after ballet lessons x 2 and swimming lessons x 2 = expensive
Have a good day0 -
I'm having a lovely lazy afternoon.
We have a lottery syndicate at work, so I texted the organiser at 8 this morning to see if we'd won. She's left the ticket at work  So I'm praying that no one claims before Monday and I might be £2.3 million richer!!!
So this afternoon, I've been day-dreaming about how we'll spend it:
First up is a house. Luckily a dream one has just gone on the market and it's "only" £685k - bargain!
Though we'd probably need to spend £100k+ remodelling it to our specifications. (Would we need a pool? decisions, decisions)
Next, I would make sure any family and friends who needed a financial leg up, got just that.
At the same time I would joyfully hand in my notice! Once I've completed the house project I'd start a business of some kind......*sigh - if only*
Right, another coffee, then I'm going to do some laundry - when I win, I'll defo have an army of helpers too, housekeepers and an ironing lady
In the real World, I've managed an NSD :T Also it's been decided that little DD will start swimming lessons in 6 months time, as she's not ready yet - so that's £24 a month saved :T0 -
Sounds like a nice afternoon - I am going to have another coffee....then have a quick tidy round the lounge and the kitchen.......then might do my yoga........;)Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Well I'm ashamed to say exercise is not on my radar today
I will go for a run tomorrow though - 6 miles, but I really need a down day today.
Enjoy your yoga!0
