Get well soon hun xxx
One step at a time0 -
Thanks for the get well wishes. Just had a sleep and feel a bit better after that.
I decided to check my emails and discovered I haven't got a place in the Great North Run
Nevermind, I'm still doing the Manchester 10k in May and am going to sign up for another next month. Good luck to you Hypno!0 -

Sorry you haven't got the GNR. At least you've got the Manchester run to work towards - when you're feeling healthier of courseOne step at a time0 -

Thanks Hopeful
I didn't get one Hypno, I had to check the site with my Registration number and DOB.
I've now decided that I'm going to check out the charities and run for one of them.
My charity of choice would be MND, it has affected a few people I know and probably doesn't get as much attention as other charities.
I'd have to commit to raising £395 though, which is the hard part, but not impossible.....0 -
£395 is not bad - I had to raise £1600 minimum for the London Marathon - in the end I raised over £4000 for Mencap

Just got off the phone to Natwest. They said they hadn't received the paperwork so had cancelled my new deal! They didn't think to inform me of that, so my mortgage payment had reverted to SVR
Anyway (luckily for my blood pressure) the 5 year fix I had arranged, is still available, so should kick in next month. I will make an overpayment to keep on track.......wuckfits is not the word.....0
