Hi mac, well done on the decluttering and tidying. I've been a lazy, lazy thing today and still have the cheek to feel tired. :o

Mmm, apple crumble and custard sounds nice. :T

    :o Caught red handed! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Yes, OH's portion is still in the pot, you're welcome to it! ;)

I was going to post on your Diet Thread. I'm going really watch what I eat Monday to Friday, drink loads of water, try to cut down on carbs and cut out sugar and alcohol completely, then at the weekend - Go Mad!
No, just be more relaxed. That way, I won't binge and should lose weight.

How are you getting on DT?
  • Sounds like a good diet MG - I am trying to cut out chocolate as that is my huge downfall and also my portion size. I made a pasta bake the other night and we divided it into four portions and me and OH spend the whole time laughing at how little food we had, but in fact it was a normal portion!! Must try harder on that score!

    Have a good day today

    Terrible

OH went shopping on Friday he always overbuys on veg for sunday dinner but when I looked after the shops had shut on Sunday he had bought a few potatoes and a few carrots and nothing else (he said he was sure he had bought sprouts and broccoli:confused:) we had nothing tinned or frozen as we have been using up supplies and an extra mouth to feed with our foster child so I eked those out for everyone one else with yorkshires and OH and I ended up having a roast beef sandwich as a result I was still hungry and ate a bar of chocolate felt sick afterwards and had bad indigestion so slept badly  so not a good start:o

    Good Evening,

IMD - chocolate /biscuits - in fact sugar in any form is my nemesis , if I can stay off it for a few days, the cravings will stop. (Fingers crossed!)

DT, that sounds like me too. I often get in, make a cheese sandwich while I'm cooking, then don't want to eat, so don't.
Then later in the evening I'm starving again, so eat loads of biscuits :o

I'm really trying to break that habit. Today it was very funny at work as we are all on diets and that was the only topic of conversation all day. I learnt about the "Tesco Tracker" - apparently it was recommended on here - and we've all been inspired by Hannah Waterman and her amazing shrinking stomach - there's hope for me yet!
The diet includes 5 mini meals a day, lots of protein "snacks" (boiled egg for afternoon snack anyone?) to avoid hunger pangs. It seems doable for me, so I'll give it a whirl.

No major money reports, 10ps on scratches and a small spend of £1.24.

I've already made an omelette for tomorrow, though should make soup too if I can summon up the energy....

Right off to check out Tesco Tracker :D Hope you've had a good day :)

Hello, feeling more than a tad hormonal today

Good news is a NSD :j, taking this month's total to 7 :T
Sold another book on Amazon and received £20.85 from a couple of Ebay sales - hurrah! I've got quite a few watchers on other things, so fingers crossed there.

Other than that - lost 1 1/4lbs - so I'm quite pleased with that :)
Just need the snow to melt so I can pound the pavements.

    Night xx

Another day and another dollar (wish the dollars would hurry up though - 12 days to payday and counting )

10p on St.Min this morning, eeking closer to payout - though am a bit concerned they might not, hearing of other people's stories....ah well it is free, so can't rely on it.

This week I need to ring the mortgage company. We were meant to be on the new 5 year deal now, with increased payments, but this month's payment was not.
Hmmm, so need to ring them on Friday.

I have a meeting in town this morning, so it's nice to have some time to myself and see the kids, as I'm usually at my desk at this time

Hope all's well if you're reading this - happy debtbusting. January payday is just around the corner!!! :j

Well Done on the weight loss, ebay sales and amazon sales - you're powering ahead and payday will be upon you before you know it!
