Hi Gill
That makes me fell normal again, so thanks
I am slowly getting there. I'm sorting through stuff and gradually getting it out of the house. I probably beat myself up too much, because the downstairs at least, is not that bad.
Little DD, only started sleeping through the night about 6 months ago (she is 4 in April ) Before that, she woke up EVERY night - without fail - for a few hours, crying and being generally horrid.
So I was exhausted, I still had to get up for work everyday, the housework slipped and the bare minimum was all that got done, as I was usually in bed at 8pm!
(Then awake half the night) It was a hellish time and didn't do my mental health any good at all.
I got the book "Why am I so Disorganised" from the library, and realised I am organised - I just had a massive backlog after 3 years of no sleep had turned me into a Zombie.
I've certainly been inspired by many of the fantastic people on this site. It is a God send and it's so good to be back in the land of the living :j0 -
You are far to hrd on yourself miss:huh:
If I had worked virtually full time and then had to get up half the night I would be proud if I was able to get up in the mrning and remembered to brush my hair and clean my teeth!!!;)
Knickers to a organised house....lack of sleep fuddles the brain....with that litle sleep you did well to organise the kids to nursery and yourself to work.
Your doing great now, sleep is a wonderful thing;):D and will soon have it organised.
Then you will have even more time, as its so much easier when you know exactly what goes where, and where stuff is.LBM Total: £33356 15/11/09  £6085.63 paid

Hiya Mac,
I've just read your firsat post and had a read, sounds asthough you are getting that focus sorted! I've been here for years now, had times where i've lost my focus completely, times where i've been too into it and have been on a bit of a roller coaster. I hate to think what i could've acheived if i'd maintained a good steady and acheivable focus.
The best advice i can give you is dont beat yourself up when it goes a bit wrong, set yourself attainable goals and stick on mse where the support is amazing. I look forward to reading with interest, your debt level is similar to mine and i know that we will be able to tackle it together! Good luck hun xxxdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Thanks Chops
But you should have seen me at work - matchsticks holding my eyes open was not a good look
Hi Pania :hello:
Thanks for those kind words. Yes, if only I had started posting all those years ago instead of lurking, I would have probably been debt free now - who knows....
I've always been extravagant, but have finally learned the error of my ways.
My horoscope for the year put it quite aptly:
"To spend money royally, you do have to be in fact, Royal"
Well the kids room is almost done. At one point I slowly scanned the room to see an almighty mess and nearly cried, but I'm going to finish the last bit now.
Had a break to bake choc'n'orange buns with DD1 as OH has taken little DD to a 4 year old's birthday party - short straw there me thinks! :rotfl:0 -
Oh yes!! Give me a messy room any day over 20 hypo noisy 4 year olds on a sugar rush!!LBM Total: £33356 15/11/09  £6085.63 paid

Well, I've had to admit defeat on the bedroom. 75% is done and I'm happy with that, but the rest will have to be done next weekend.
It gleaned:
2 bags of rubbish (which my beloved took to the tip with another 5 bags :T)
1 Carboot bag
1 Charity bag
Things do feel much straighter, so it was worth the effort!
I have to summon the energy to photograph and Ebay tonight, but really don't fancy that, as I have a basket of ironing to do too - yawn.
I'm feeling a bit full after my apple crumble and custard - it was YUM!
Hope DT isn't reading as I got told off for mentioning it on her threadI made it with oats and wholemeal flour - so it was healthy
(ish - I'll just ignore the butter and sugar:D:D)

remember, it is one of your five a day!
You seem to have made a huge amount of progress today - I have made just slightly less effort todaySuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Yes, I've already counted it!!!
Oooh forgot to add, I pulled everything out of the towel/bedding/airing cupboard and re-folded and put it all back neatly. I found some things I'd forgotten about that have Ebay written ALL over them
Now just need to summon the enthusiasm to do it  I feel a little nap coming on......0 -
we're still sans dishwasher, OH is doing it and i'm putting away but it still bugs me that it sits around for half of the day. Ok it did that when we had the dishwasher so nowt much has changed.
We've got little choice but to try and save for maternity leave, i'm the main bread winner and even on enhanced maternity pay we just couldn't pay the bills on OH's hard earned money. Been trying to save for over a year now, but OH had to use some of it to buy his car, but now we've sold the scooter that helps top it back up again. Now we're on the TTC road i felt if i added it to the signature it would help us remember what we're saving for.0 -
