Hello Ladies
The coffee will be hardest to give up for me, that's why I'm starting today, so the headaches will have subsided by Monday morning....
I don't drink much either, so that won't bother me, but bread, cheese, sugar will arghhhhh!!!! I just need to cleanse my system. I lost 5lbs before my Christmas do, but that's back on - so a body blitz is required!
Well done IMD and MissO on the running :T I hope to join in asap. I looked at trail shoes last night, but can't justify a spend £40+ at the moment, so will have to wait.
Right must go and tackle the jobs. Have a good day!0 -
I have never drunk coffee fortunately, I absolutely love the smell of it and wished I loved it but sadly not.
I stopped eating a lot of bread a few years back as it just bloated me but if I do eat bread then it is pitta bread or wholemeal and that seems to work. Cheese i adore and try not to buy. Sugar aka chocolate - I will battle until the day I die!1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j
2nd debt - MBNA - £6,618.52
First in many many to go - baby steps and all that!
First lump sum to go - fingers crossed!
08/06/09 - [STRIKE]£11,497.68[/STRIKE] NOW - £9,757.75

Head.....hurts.....need.......coffee.....soooooo tired
Is this really doing me good?
However the calorie count was kept low today :T Until I spied some cherry bakewells in the cupboard and had one:o:o:o:o
Nevermind, I've lost 3lbs this week already, so am more than happy with that :j
Spent £1.51 on milk and sweets for the kids as Friday is treat day
I blitzed the downstairs this morning, then visited my friend for [STRIKE]coffee[/STRIKE] herbal tea, which was nice. Tomorrow I need to sort the mortgage, photograph and sort the Ebay stuff and blitz the upstairs.
All that with only a few grains of Quinoa for sustenance :rotfl:0 -

Today I plan to start a 2 week detox, cutting out diary, wheat, sugar, alcohol and caffeine  It's only for 2 weeks, so I can hack that.
Hey Macgirl - you brave thing.:T Try and take it easy (easier said than done I know) and don't overdo things - give your body chance to deal with the shock that is coming its way:rotfl:Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

Good Morning!
Banoffee Pie is the Devil incarnate Hypno! How dare you!!!!
Yes, Rupe I am currently "lounging" having dispatched DH and DD1 to ballet. I've had my porridge made with water :A (and a splash of milk - I'm not that good) and am now sipping a nice cup of chamomile tea - Mmmmm.
Of course what I really want is a coffee and 2 slices of hot toast with butter
Good news of the day is that the snow is finally melting! :T There are still large slabs of ice on the pavements though, so the running will commence later in the week or at the weekend.
Woke up to some Ebay sales, so have requested £23.86 from Paypal and am awaiting one more payment of £10. Plus sold another book, so £4.40 there :j
I'm going to tot up what I've spent this week and post that later.
Right off to get dressed and go to PO.
Happy Saturday x0 -

Its raining here, so the ice is more or less gone.....will start running on Tuesday.....and will start my detox on 1st Feb for 28 days (easy to keep track of that way!) The other reason for starting that day is that my boss is away for the first week in Feb so I can manage the caffeine withdrawals a lot easier if I haven't got that additional stress at work....I can shut my office door and just get on with it!
Have a good weekend.....:DSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Today all I want to do is curl up and go to sleep. We are meant to be going out tonight for DH's birthday, but he's shattered too so suggested canceling the babysitter and going next week instead - phew! (plus it doesn't interfere with my detox :T )
Cue DD1 throwing herself on the floor in devastation  *sigh*
Normally I'm chomping at the bit to go out, but I have absolutely no energy today
Spent £4.99 in Sainsbury's on wax strips (taking the kids swimming tomorrow - so the wolf tights need tackling!) and chocolate for the kids - the smell was divine - I need sugar.............off to hibernate0 -
Morning
Up to payout on one scratch so requested £5.12 from that
Received £31.86 from Amazon sales and sold another 2 books on there :T
We ended up taking the kids to the local Italian for DH's birthday tea last night. I had tuna - no carbs - and even did without dessert :A (which was torture - but I had a small glass of house red to make up for it)
When we got back I was looking at some evening classes, there are a couple of things I fancy which would aid my money making idea - but the classes are £89 for 12 weeks, so I'll have to think about that. Plus it means more time away from the kids, so that's another consideration - might see if there's a book in the library so I can teach myself.
This morning we're taking the kids swimming - well I won't be swimming exactly, but might start going on a Sunday evening. There's plenty to do in the house, but I think it will be a lazy Sunday today, as I'm feeling a bit bleurgh... I've done some washing, so that might have to suffice for today.
Have a good day if you're reading0
