Hello! Why have the smilies changed?? No eye rolling? I can't live without that one! :rotfl:

I was in bed early last night watching TV. I've been shattered this week - doing mostly 12 hour days (eye roller needed here), so really needed to veg out. So it was Kirstie and Phil, followed by obnoxious Gordon Ramsey in lovely India, whilst reading Grazia (nicked from work :D :money:) BLISS!

A few more Amazon sales and bids on a few Ebay bits, so I'm happy with that. Received another £14.83 today, so it is trickling in (though I am still £296 overdrawn :wall:).
Payday on Monday though! Hurrah!!!! It's been a loooong 5 weeks.

Last day of the working week for me, so plenty planned for tomorrow. Going to try a bit of wheeling and dealing towards the £10k challenge.....

Have a nice evening if you're reading ;)

Completely agree with you on the wage front. I am keeping everything possible crossed OH's salary goes in tomorrow morning or we will be selling parts of my body for the next few days - apart from my eyes and feet of course :D

What wheeling and dealing have you got planned del boy?

No wheeling or dealing yet sadly.
There are a couple of junk shops near me that I thought I might have a shufty round for some money makers, but it is pouring down and I don't want to drag little DD out again....

Just spent a mortgage payment in Sainsburys  Well I am exaggerating a tad, but there was an audible gulp when I saw the total (£202 - a week's mortgage payment :o)

Anyway, onwards. I did get plenty of offers and should only need bread, milk, fruit and veg for the next few weeks, so it'll be ok.

The house is a tip, due to me not keeping on top of it every night.
Why is it that if I don't go to bed having left everything completely spick and span, that it looks like a bombsite by Friday :( *sigh*

Every room I walk into, I just close my eyes and walk right back out! I need to get the Benny Hill music on and start motoring, but I really cannot be *rsed.

Sold another boxset on amazon :T, so will post that on the way to school.

Right will have a quick mooch, then off to the joys of housework!

With a newborn and toddler in tow Hopeful?! I'd say that counts for a Half Marathon!!!!

I'm aiming for another run in the morning - 4.5 miles tomorrow. I like going early, but it was a bit scary this morning as it was very quiet and pitch black at 6.45am
I've posted my Amazon parcel and have bids on 5 Ebay things :j Not a fortune, but it should clear at least another 20 quid after fees, maybe more as there are a few watchers. Fingers crossed.

We are now offically skint. The joint account is virtually at Zero after the monster shop today and £150 on tyres for OH's car. He really should pay out of his own account for car maintenance, the joint pot is for household, food and kids stuff *sigh*
Needless to say, when I pointed out that fact, a heated discussion ensued involving my debt, blah, blah. It was not pretty.

We are due to be going out for his birthday tomorrow night too, so we might have to re-look at that.....nothing is ever simple is it?

    Good Morning / Afternoon!

Busy Busy this morning. Went for my run :T The first mile or so is a steady incline, which then turns into a VERY steep hill. I always sing something by The Prodigy to get me up the hill, then feel like I'm running on the spot when I get to the top and my legs will no longer propel me forward :rotfl:

Anyway, it was very icy and as I was running down the other side of the mountain, I slipped and went flying and landed with a bang right on the top of my bum! :o:o:o
It was painful enough to make me cry (for a minute ) and I thought I would was going to have to phone OH to collect me. But I carried on and was able to complete the run - so I feel great now! :A (Then took both girls to ballet for almost 2 hours )

Need to sort out some money this morning. We've had a letter through to say a payment hasn't been made from our joint account, so I need to investigate that....

Hope you all have a good day/weekend x
