Thanks Hypno. Bit sore on the rump - good job I'm well-padded
The payment has gone out and there's still money in the bank :T So don't know what the letter was about.....(need the confused smiley here - why has that been ditched too?)
Just back from a 1st birthday party, then taking DH out for a rare meal to celebrate his birthday a couple of weeks ago. I'm driving to save £££'s (and lbs)
I've just been on Nutracheck to see how many more cals I have left for today - 891 :j I have to say I'm more addicted to that site now, than this!0 -
Hi Macgirl, hope you are not too sore! Thanks for mentioning nutracheck, just had a look and it seems fab. Do you have a subscription? I've just signed up for the free trial to see how it all works. I'm not sure if I have entered the right serving sizes but it says I have 667 kcals left. Might congratulate myself with a banana :rotfl:0

Hello Auntyem :hello:
A banana?! Don't go mad now :rotfl: 95 calories - Medium banana (said in Metal Mickey voice)
F_F Ben and Jerry's is my FAV!!!! Mmmmmm Chunky Monkey and Cherry Garcia - to die for.
The thing is - I reeeeeaaaallllly don't want to be fat and 40. That's my motivation. Though I have just been out and eaten 3 gorgeous coursesand wine
:o:o
Will add up the cals tomorrow - but they will be through the ROOF! Hehehehe!0 -
If I recall correctly, Ben & Jerry's has no nutritional info on the tub.....so that must mean it contains no calories and no fat.......*insert shrugging shoulders smiley here*Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Woken up by the DD's at the crack of dawn. I am an early riser, but just one day it would be nice to lie in bed until at least 8am on a Sunday......
Scratches done and a few Ebayables finishing today - so far the total is £31 so not bad!
After a couple of glasses of vino last night, I decided that if the debt takes longer to repay, then so be it. However, this morning my head is clearer.
We don't go out very often and we do need the odd treat. I know that I have fundamentally changed in my attitude towards money and spending, but still it gets me down that this debt is holding me/us back.
Payday tomorrow and I have almost £300 to repay on my OD/Mum's party. That is not on my sig, so won't make a difference to my debt total, but I am planning to "invest" in my ideas for the £10k challenge - so hope to see more profits next month.
I want to reach my target of £156 by the end of the month and may just do that. Fingers, eyes and toes crossed
Have a good day0 -
I am sure you will reach that target - there is still a week to go, and that gives you plenty of scope for moneymakingSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

I bet you reach the target, well done for being so focused with it.
Pity you the early rise, OH got up with the kids today and I got up late and then realised I had promised to be at my mum's early :eek:
Understand about the debt thoughts, I sometimes think I'm putting myself under too much pressure time wise to repay it but then I can't bear the thought of having it around longer than necessary. I am fully aware there's no quick fix however and I do think my approach is so different to 6 months ago. We'll get there, and when we do just think how rich we'll be1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j
2nd debt - MBNA - £6,618.52
First in many many to go - baby steps and all that!
First lump sum to go - fingers crossed!
08/06/09 - [STRIKE]£11,497.68[/STRIKE] NOW - £9,757.75

Thanks for that
Almost £40 now on Ebay, with a hour to go on some items and days on the others. Plus just sold a book on Amazon for £13.76 (so at least £11 after postage :j) I bought it years ago as a student for about £2 :T
Not been a good day today on many levels, but mainly I'm  with myself because we went to Pizza Express - I couldn't NOT have a pizza, so extra calories there. Plus I took a voucher for buy one get one free and forgot to use it!!!!
I decided to go for a run when I got home to burn it off :A Then had a massive row with DH, so didn't go......:(
Nevermind, payday tomorrow0
