Good evening! A weird day of impending change and uncertainty, but in a good way. I know that sounds cryptic and doesn't make sense, but I can't really say any more on here.

Anyway, payday - hurrah! I managed to get through the day without going to the bank, but had to put £40 worth of diesel in my car for the week.
Other than that, nothing to report. I need to analyse the budget this month, taking into account the house move and my share of the joint pot. I looked into Landlord's insurance and critical illness cover last week, so need to finalise those. Ideally, I would like to pay off Barclaycard this month, then transfer my Virgin card onto that. I'm ashamed to say it is still accrues interest of 17% :o. I didn't want to apply for any more 0% cards before we applied for the mortgages, so I must deal with that next.

Once we move, I have a sideline that I'm going to try and generate extra cash with on Fridays, when I'll have a few hours to myself. There really won't be any excuse not to get rid of this debt so I'm going to concentrate all my efforts on that.

Hope everyone has had a good day :)

Hello Pania :hello: Please don't just lurk - join in!!! :)

I often think I should give up this diary as the debt-free aspect of it is severely lacking, it's just me blithering on about nothing!

THE MORTGAGE OFFER HAS ARRIVED!!!! :j:j:j

DH went to get his ID verified again this morning, to be told it had already been done :wall: It transpires that they can communicate after all, just not with us to tell DH not to bother talking an hour off work to re-do something he's done 4 times already......

Anyway, suffice to say it's job done. We signed the registry plan (?) showing the boundary so it does feel like we are on the home straight! I'm going to call the solicitors tomorrow and see where we're at and if we can get a completion date :)

Also, the insurance contractor finished tiling the bathroom after the leak, so that all looks shiny and new (especially after my Mrs R style blitz last night!)

Hope you have had a good day!
