I have to say Mrs R, I run for mental benefits more than anything. My tush thankfully is not my problem and as for the face.....well I thank the Lord for MAC make-up (and plenty of it!) ;)

Talking of which - a quick and cool 3 miles this morning. It certainly has that Back to School feeling this morning and has reminded me that I need to buy 2 pairs of school shoes this weekend. Payday tomorrow and I also have my 6 month appraisal as promised in March, I'm hoping that might pay off something - so watch this space.

Have a good day all :)

    And the saga continues..............long exhale

I rang the NW this morning - my usual "Hi, it's me again!" daily phonecall, just to double check everything was finally ok with DH's ID.

    It's not.

    :wall:  :wall:

I can't believe it! They said it had been scanned through from the branch and when it reached the computer all they could see were 2 black pages. I can't for the life of me work out what is so difficult. I have to perform simple tasks like this every day and can do so, so why can't one of the "big 4"??? Argghhhh!!

Anyway, breathe. It is a small hiccup and everything will be alright (I say that to myself about 20 times then I'm ok :D). So, DH will have to take his ID in for the 4th time, for them to scan and post off this time........

    Payday tomorrow :j

Poor you. I can't believe they can't do something as simple as scanning a document and sending it on. But then again.....

As my friend keeps reminding me, moving house is like childbirth - it hurts at the time but afterwards it's just a joy(:o?!) and you forget all the pain.....Hope so :D

Sadly, I CAN believe that it is taking this long - I know the frustrations I have had with some supposed simple tasks with financial institutions of one sort or another!

But, am sure it will all be sorted xx

Thanks. Yes, I keep reminding myself that the hard part is over. Offer accepted, mortgages approved, valuation ok (though we have yet to see a copy - it gets sent out with the Offer ), so really the ID issue is just incidental.
Today we received the fixtures and fittings list from the solicitors, so it does seem as though they have had the contract for longer than they admitted, or have gone into overdrive - which makes me feel guilty for getting cross on Friday :o but at least it made things happen.....
