Feels like I've never been to bed. I eventually went at 1am and woke up before 6 - my mind is buzzing.

I sorted out quotes for Landlord's Insurance last night, as well as a new Life and Critical Illness Cover - both of which are cheaper than the IFA's :money: Thank you Martin ;)
I also decided to redirect the mail online. If things do go belly-up, then I can cancel it, but it is one thing that can be done now and probably would get forgotten about.

Lots to do today - staring with the Dentist - then I have an hour to whizz round getting keys cut, dropping off stuff to the letting agent and ringing the bank, the insurance to change it from here, cancel our ASU policy etc etc etc

Oh and I booked the van for next weekend. No luxury of expensive removals here sadly :(

Hope you have a good day x

I'm not surprised your head is buzzing! But it will be able to relax in a few days in a fab new house x

Well, why was I stressing? The vendor's solicitor haven't even sent the contracts to our solicitors yet!!! :rotfl: (if I don't laugh I will cry)

So I tore a huge strip off the EA this morning - all they do is tell a string of lies. We are working hard to meet the completion date set by the vendors, so their children can settle in school - forget my children.

The EA said 6 weeks is achievable so long as "we all push". But it turns out I'm the only one pushing. I've told them it can go at it's own speed from now on, as I'm not knocking anymore years off my life if they can't even keep on top of their solicitor to do the most fundamental job of the process.

I am calm about it now and will not be rushed. At least we don't have to pack the whole house this weekend. It is frustrating to be in limbo - our solicitor said it could be weeks until we complete now, then so be it.

A large chilled bottle of something tonight I think :D

The other gutting thing is that I think I might have to pull out of the GNR. I can't be away for that weekend when we might have to move - it's just too much pressure. I'm going to think about it on my long run on Sunday, but at the moment it doesn't look likely :(

I'll be joining you in the bottle of chilled, but I have to say that I would stick with doing the GNR.

If they are messing you around on dates, then just tell them that this particular date doesn't suit you. Won't be a problem to delay the move by another week so that you can do GNR, will it?

You can't put your life on hold, and a very enjoyable run with 30,000 others will do you the world of good, rather than potentially just having to watch it on the telly, still in the old house because a date hasn't been agreed, saying "I should be there".
