You've got an excuse to sleep Taxi, so don't feel guilty about that - it's healing sleep :)

Good morning, went for a quick run this morning. Freaked myself out a bit when my HRM started beeping like mad and read 200!
So I slowed down and it was fine, but I wondered if the stress of the weekend has affected me, it's a reminder to let things go and not get stressed. (Easier said...)

Glad I painted outside yesterday as it's drizzly today. So plan for today is:
    1. Iron
    2. Go to Supermarket
    3. Take some tiles upto my parent's so I can cut them
    4. Emtpy and file at least one box of papers - this is a job I keep pushing back and it's becmoing a black cloud, so must be tackled
    5. Iron name badges on school uniform, then pack away in a box
    6. Pack some toys away
    7. Possibly gloss the skirting at either side of the stairs
    8. Ring a builder to fix our porch
    9. Ring a roofer for quotes for the flashing - as this also needs doing
    10. Return forms to the lettng agent - together with cheque

That should keep me out of mischief! I'm also going to make some buns to take into work tomorrow, so the girls can get involved with that. Still not ventured into my accounts, so will do that now.
Have a good day all x

Macgirl, could I have a copy of the Rome info too.

We had a holiday planned there but then a stomach bug attacked the hotel we were staying at with OH's work before flying there, so were borderline for being well enought to travel, then on the morning in the early hours a phone call about a family bereavement of a very close relative so definitely off. Would love to try to go again, just slightly iffy incase it's tempting fate.

    Thanks just got it :)

Is the hotel near the railway station, just looked at a map link and it looked like it might be. It's just that's supposed to be a quick and cheap way of getting from the main airport to central Rome. I think on our previous planned visit we were going to use the train to get to the centre, and then a taxi to the hotel, as previous hotel was further out (a problem for sightseeing, but we were going to use loyalty points - now used up so a more convenient hotel would be better). Your hotel would be far better, as it looks like walking distance.
