busy day again..you lot make me feel so lazy.
hope the mortgage deciscion is quick0 -
TOM for me, so my energy levels are low anyway today - plus I'm a morning person, so if I want to be working into the evening, I need to start motoring early in the day to build up momentum.
I am not too enamoured that I have pledged to do a long run in the morning either
We are taking the girls out to a park in the morning, so before we go, I'll run (and tell myself I'll just do 3 miles
), then I'm going to turf DH out of bed and gloss the other half of the skirting. Then when we get back I'll emulsion the chimney breast, stairs and landing. I will, I will, I WILL! 0 -
Runchum's training schedule says 2 hours 40 for tomorrow morning.......so I will be getting the miles in as soon as I have dropped my student off at the coach.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Runchum would be getting the bum's rush from me! :rotfl: 2hours 40?! No thanks
If I manage 1 hour 40 I'll think I deserve a medal!
I really need new trainers and went to get some today that I saw last week in the sale - sale is now over  So am off to look online, as I think I have a voucher.......0 -
she does have a marathon to get round at the end of September, so we pretty much HAVE to do that much!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Just got back from A&E. I had just prepared everything ready for painting; washed the paintwork, masked ready for glossing and was about to start when DH yelled for me.
Little DD was eating a Fab lolly and decided to bite a chunk of the stick too - and swallow it
As it looked like a largeish piece and was splintered I thought it best to get her checked over. Of course as soon as we got there she was dancing around, as happy as Larry. I asked the TRiage nurse hopefully if I was being over-cautious and could we go home - but sadly not.
So a chest x-ray and 3 hour wait later and all is well.
She was also up all night with a cough, so no run as I slept in. We took them to see Toy Story 3 this morning (and brought MSE snacks and drinks with us from home :money:), so I didn't feel guilty leaving them to paint this afternoon. So all plans ki-boshed
Hope you've had a better day.0 -
Glad things were not serious at the hospital, but not exactly the day that you would choose, I am sure!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Thanks, she is completely fine. Pesky kids
I've put on my painting gear - so after I've eaten the lovely dinner DH has just made, I AM going to get something productive done
