So no running naked through the streets then :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

No, the public have been spared that atrocity for today

Right, payday on Friday and I have the following deductions before I can withdraw my personal spends to deposit into the envelopes:
£80 - Car Service (fingers crossed, that's all it will be)
£14.99 - running top (accidentally paid for on card)
£11 - accidentally paid for something else on card and can't remember what it was, but figure sticks in my head!
So I reckon £17 per week to spend - should be doable. The only blot is my romantic trip to Rome with DH :A but he said he will fund spends from his bonus.
Best stay out of duty free and should be home dry.......0 -

I have sorted one carrier bag full of papers and filed them in the newly decluttered concertina box file :A
If I can keep this up every day I will make good progress.
Feel quite anxious about getting the mortgage accepted, but no point worrying about it I guess.
Off for a run in the morning, then back to Shred in the evening - decorating permitting.0 -
If IFA wasn't worried about your affordability you shouldn't be...am sure everything will go great.
Well done on the filing paperwork0 -
Thanks Taxi. DH has an aversion to accounts and paperwork (despite working for himself) and although he has told the truth he is still a bit worried about it.
His Dad was an accountant whose business went belly up, so it stems from there....
I'm sure we'll be ok.
Run done - only 30 mins but better than nothing. Now just got to get myself and the kids ready, then am going to ring the Natwest.
Have a good day everyone x0 -
Well done on the run - 30 mins is 30 mins and all good!
Have a good day

Rang the bank first thing. They said our income meets with their criteria so far (debts included - phew!).
All they need from DH is a year's audited accounts, turnover and projections for next year - all of which he has so he feels more comfortable about that.
They are calling me back at 11.30 as the full application takes an hour. I've let little DD stay off nursery today, as she hates going anyway, so she will have to watch a DVD whilst I'm on the phone.
Went for coffee before Sports Day (yes, it's over already and I took a whole day's holiday ) but nice friend paid, so saved cash there.
I've got plenty to do today. I'm just going to hem some curtains, then do some washing, then once the mortgage app is done, I'll do some more painting.
Catch up later
