Well I promised myself I won't buy an iPhone. I looked online at the price and thought "Sod it - I'm buying one". Then read a bit further to see I'd need to buy a contract - so the MSE fairies were keeping an eye on me and steering me away from danger - Phew!0
-
I'd quite like one too - but I am safe until Feb as my contract is not up for renewal until then, so no chance!!
Sounds like you are being very strong - long may it last :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Yes, my contract is not up until next year. I upgraded on an 18 month contract and sold my new phone on Ebay for £120
So to get an iPhone, I'd have to pay £258 to get out of this contract - or buy an iPhone.
I don't need one or want one that badly, so will do without. It's greed not need :cool:0 -
Think I'm going to be up all night watching the Election results. It's gripping, but as Piers Morgan has just said it's secondary to the story of Greece collapsing. Scary stuff to come.....0

Good Morning, feeling bleary eyed after falling asleep on the sofa and waking up at 3.30am
30p on the scratchies, so not a bad start to the day. Lots to do today, shopping cleaning, changing beds etc etc, in prep for the inlaws visit.
Nothing else to report - hope you all have a good day x0 -

Enjoy New York, and the shopping. Hope the £ doesn't slip more for $ exchange rates.0

Had a mad busy day today when time ran away from me and I ended up spending £53 on food in M&S ready for my inlaws visit
:o:o
Picked DD1 up from school and she walked out white as a sheet. She'd been sick in the classroom - (all the kids delighted in telling me in the playground.) Think she may have tonsilitis, I've dosed her up with calpol and she's fine when it kicks in, then as it tails off her temperature soars. Poor thing
So moneywise not good, but I did avoid any other unnecessary spending0 -
Ooh, poor DD - I hope she gets much better soon and doesn't keep you awake xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Thanks. She's asleep on the sofa next to me. I can hear her tonsils rattling as she breathes. I don't think the Dr gives anything for throat infections any more, so I'll have to give her plenty of fluids and TLC and hope it passes soon.0
