Mine have blackout blinds AND curtains :D Plus little DD usually asks to go to bed :rotfl:

Went for a short run this morning - just 3 miles, but went as fast as poss, then home for a quick shower and change and was ready to vote at 7am.

Work has been manic and to be honest I could do with going in tomorrow. I found out today that I'm going to New York the week after next, so next week will be very busy....plus I'm already apprehensive about possible spending over there :o

I've got the inlaws up this weekend, and they're great so I'm looking forward to it. BUT, I have to blitz the house with little DD in tow tomorrow and try and do the supermarket shop (may try and palm her off on my Mum for an hour).

Going to try and do a bit more on the house tonight, but I really should do some work, so that may have to wait.

Hope everyone has had a good day :)

    Hi macgirl

New York for work! How outrageously exciting! Have you been before? See where you're coming from with worrying about spending, but, if you get any time off, it will be great to enjoy just being there, taking in the fab buildings etc and the general buzz, that I think it can be done without spending too much.....

    Enjoy your busy day tomorrow

Yes, I've been many times before, but it's still one of the better trips, so I am looking forward to it! It will be hard work, but I'm sure a little shopping will sneak in :D

And I want a big fat bonus to pay off a chunk of debt and for some new windows :) I would much rather have the cost of the trip in my account instead. We're never happy are we!

I think you will get that big fat bonus too. Well. I'd give it to you.

Indeed! So, if I don't get my bonus, can I come to New York with you?

Although if I don't get my bonus, I have no shopping money to take with me!

    Can't bloody win!!!
