DH is bathing the girls, so 5 minutes respite for me. Had tuna salad for tea and a yogurt. Going to try and suppress the urge for sugar with caffeine - coffee not chocolate sadly
In other news, the EA has just called to see if we want to view the Compromise house - the one that was under offer. The couple's "mortgage product" was withdrawn, so it's back on. To be honest, it's not for us and we're going to get DH's accounts and work out the figures before we look again.
Ooops, little DD is hysterical upstairs over a spider - must run!0 -
I know what you mean about only being fit to hit the laptop. Today I didn't even get time to take my coat off before bringing the kids to the ski club - I will zap something in the microwave for my dinner when I get home at 9ishSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. Well, after very nearly falling asleep, I gave myself a kick up the bum and got into my painting clothes. I gave the doorframe a coat, so a good start.
Then, with paint brush in hand like loaded gun, I spied other jobs. I've ended up touching up the woodwork upstairs, skirtings and doorframes, our bedroom door (the only one which is not stripped pine, so the others got away with it), the stairs handrail, the skirtings and doorframes in the hallway. The girls love whizzing up and down the hall on the scooter, so chunks have been knocked out - all now gone!!!
God knows what it wil look like in the morning and it will all need another coat, but I'm glad I at least made it look tidy
Going to aim to do my hill run in the morning. Last week my "Glutimus Maximus" was aching for a fair few days (though it's the old glutimus stomachus that needs most attention) so will try and fit that in before going to vote.
Off for a shower, coffee, Newsnight and bed x0 -

Yes, things are very good, though I can't rest on my laurels as we have to beat these figures next year, so work never stops. Also heard today that the bonus should materialise by the end of April.................next year *sigh*
Hope things are well with you x0 -
Sweet dreams;)0

Well done on doing the painting mac - when I'm working I just collapse when I get home!
Oh and the mention of light evenings, I remember when I was a little girl and my mum was putting me and my sister to bed when it was still light. We could hear other children out playing and ask why we had to go to bed and she would answer "It's because those children have parents who don't care about them".:rotfl:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
