I hate shredding - I seem to do masses of it, yet still have piles of paper around!!

I'm going to blitz my lounge.........ready to clean the carpet tomorrow

Hypno, you will feel great once the carpet is done.

KM we have a wood burning stove but it hasn't been lit recently. Might be worth lighting it to get rid!

I'm really motivated to sort some paperwork tonight and get organised. It really built up during the sleepless years and it became overwhelming. So to do so now will be a relief to get back to some semblance of organisation.

Then I WILL run tomorrow morning. I've decided to abandon the 9 miler and instead do 6 at a faster pace.
It's the Manchester 10k in 2 weeks, so after that I'll increase the milage for the GNR. DH bought me some gels yesterday so I need to practise taking those on the run. I usually run on empty (both food and drink) but know that is not sustainable over longer distances. I tried a sports drink at one of the stations once and felt really sick afterwards, so need to experiment a bit.

Anyway, bedtime for babies, so will try and catch up later x

1 box has been sorted through and a binbag filled. I'm really tired now, so am going to call it a night and watch the programme on Warhol. Night all x

I've tidied the lounge, so it is ready to deep clean tomorrow......

Have a good evening and good luck with the run tomorrow - I never used gels, just plenty of lucozade sport along the way. The gel's don't appeal to me!

Good Morning, I woke at 5.30 and jumped out of bed thinking it was 6.30 - Doh!

I feel very fat today. I was losing weight steadily and still having the odd treat but the odd treat has been more frequent. Busy, busy - have a quick biscuit, making a cuppa - have a biscuit while kettle boils and 2 more with it etc etc. I have to stop that and get back on track. I've just visited the NC forums for inspiration, so might have to join them (DH will surely divorce me if I spend any more time on the computer :o)

REALLY do not want to run this morning. Feel fat, it looks cold and I can't find my gloves - not that I usually wear them it's just a lame excuse......Well am dressed and ready and someone has just ran past the window, so better get it over and done with. I know I'll feel better once I've been :(

Thanks DT - hope all's well with you and your family :)

I'm back! It was tough today. Don't know whether that was due to my negative attitude or that I've eaten half my bodyweight in chocolate biscuits this weekend :o But it is always harder the week before t.o.m

I almost turned back, so had to start chanting

    I'm fit, I'm fast, I'm lean, I'm strong
    I'm fit, I'm fast, I'm lean, I'm strong
    I'm fit, I'm fast, I'm lean, I'm strong

Then it got easier! I'm not going eat anything containing evil sugar - Just for Today ;)

Well done on running! I am doing the Manchester 10k as well, I find on shorter races it may just be worth having an energy drink half an hour before the run. If you eat a good breakfast and drink plenty the day before you should have enough energy to get you round. I am trying to stop my wee stops - I'm a nightmare!

Hope you have a productive day, you and Hypno are putting me to shame!

    Thanks hun :A

The energy gels were really for my longer runs. I started increasing the milage a few weeks back, 6,7 then 8 miles. So planned to do 9 today, but thought I'd better start thinking about hydration en route in prep for the GNR.

Wee stops are a problem for me too, but as my BiL says "Serious Runners Do it in their Pants" :o
Guess I'm not that serious, but I don't want to lose vital minutes, so it may be an option :D
