Thanks BTD - my brain never switches off, so I'm always mental!

Ironing all done, house relatively tidy and lunch eaten (WW soup :A), so am off to tackle the attic bedroom. Catch you later x

No worries DT, I've replied ;)

All talk of houses and moving is now off the agenda for a while. Instead I'm focusing on what we've got, saving to complete jobs here and repaying the debt :A

Had a very productive day. Cleared lots of stuff from the attic, clothes to charity shop, magazines (including all my old copies of Vogue _pale_) and a carboot full of other junk to the tip. I've talked to DH about letting go of some of the "stuff" he's clung onto for years - but that will take more work me thinks!
It feels like we are making progress though - wish every weekend could be a Bank Holiday :D

Hope everyone else is enjoying it :)

I got that horror out of the way first thing, so feel quite relieved.

On the way back from the tip I called to buy veg for dinner and also picked up a shredder. So this evening, I'm tackling that task and hopefully will get all the paperwork out of the 4 large boxes and into the filing cabinet by the end of tomorrow. If that's done, I'll be very happy indeed.

Despite my promise, I've just been on rightmove - just to see if there are any new morsels (when will I learn?)
However, I have found a few more Ebayables and will photograph them ready for listing together with shredding tonight. So at least I'll feel I'm doing some money making.

We have £500 in Premium Bonds that I'm tempted to borrow towards the windows, we'll see.

    Oh I know. I'm such a rebel!

I had got out of the habit while concentrating on here, so need to get back to that and stop tormenting myself for no good reason. I'm good at biding my time, but the noisy neighbours forced us into action earlier than we intended.

Anyway, we can at least do some research on mortgages whilst fettling this place and sorting debts. So no real harm done - except to my emotions, but I'll get over that :)

Shredded a bagful of papers, it is painfully slow but will do more later. Every little helps!
