Thanks Gill, but no hope of a relaxed day here

Little DD was meant to be taking her first ballet exam this morning. She has just been trying to make herself sick because she doesn't want to go. DH thinks we should be pushing her a bit and I agree, but she's not even 4 yet and there is a time to push and a time when that is counterproductive........

THEN, we are going to a 2 hour 6 years old's birthday party at a playgym. So that will be a headsplitter..... After that we are taking my Mum out for a meal, so not all bad!

Hope you have a nice day xx

    Mother's Day thus far:
    • Hoovered and cleaned car
    • Raked and Swept leaves in front garden and generally tidied up
    • Done 4 loads of washing - the ironing pile is growing rapidly
    • Hoovered the whole house, cleaned kitchen and bathroom and tidied everyhwere
    • Purged all old magazines and newspapers
    • Sent OH to the tip (on his way to go swimming - where is that damned eye-rolling smiley grrrr)- as he forgot to put out the dustbin, so gathered extra bits and bobs to chuck!
    • About to bath kids ready for party
    • Stuck within my calories, thereby having many to enjoy later :A (No pudding though - if I break the seal on sugar I'm doomed)

In money news - 45p gleaned from scratchies!

Hmmm and just to relax me further, I've just flooded the bathroom floor!
Just having a coffee to calm down.

Nevermind, work tomorrow....the fun never stops!

Sounds about as good as my day!

I've now done 5 loads of washing, put everything away. Managed to get out of ironing, as there is enough school uniform and DH favours the "Stig of The Dump" look anyway :rotfl:

Dinner was awful. We had to wait an hour for our food, with little DD shouting "WHEN IS OUR DINNER READY???" :o:o:o
When it finally arrived, it was poor to say the least. My Mum went OTT about how lovely it was, then politely complained and got 3 roast dinners knocked off the bill :money:

Off to check the damage on Nutracheck.....

Good Morning - the start of a new week and the Sun is Shining - well trying to...

Slept in so am already on the hop, but I've decided that

:j I AM GOING TO DO THE GREAT NORTH RUN!:j

What do I have to lose, I'm 40 this year and there is no other perfect motivation to keep me running until September. (Gulp)

    Better run, as I'm v.late - have a good day if you're reading :)

Good for you - that would be the sort of kick up the bum that I would need to get myself running again.

    Have a good day!
