zzzLazyDaisy - I know you can do it!! Get your head in the right place and the rest will follow i'm sure! Personally, i find it's mind over matter, If you want it bad enough, you'll get it in the end. You may stumble a few times along the way, but just get right back up, dust yourself down and keep going. I'm doing it for me mostly, but my kids too. I want to be there when they have kids, and that keep's me focused. I have been overweight since the beginning of my teens, so now at the ripe old age of 43, with a 10yr and 2yr old, I thought it was about time to do it once and for all! So here I am, 10 months down the road and nearly 5 stone lighter and feeling very proud of myself! Only you can do it, but it helps to have a support network, and this tread has been my lifesaver at time's! My best friend is the best friend you could wish for, and my daughter for that matter, alway's telling me how proud they are of me and how well i'm doing
, DH isn't so good at it tho', not had one compliment from him! No change there then!!:rotfl:
Anyway, GOOD LUCK!! :A
Well, weighed in this morning and thankfully I did stay the same! so nothing lost but I am VERY happy with that as also had a chinese last nite. Well if your gonna be naughty, may as well do it all in one weekend! I did prepare myself for the extra food this weekend, by being extra good all last week, and have managed to walk as much as I could, and the 5 hours walking around on saturday christmas shopping must of helped too!
Anyway off now, sorry for the extra long post, but felt it needed to be said.
Have a great day one and all. xx:money::money::money::money:

Hi gang. Sorry I've been so quiet this month, have just got back from my hols.
Weigh in 1) - before I went away - 2lbs lost
Weigh in 2) - after a week on holiday - 3.5lbs lost!
I'm quite shocked really. I didn't go mad while I was away but I definitely had a bit more food and alcohol than usual. It must just be down to all the walking I did as I was doing a good 3 miles a day with lots of uphill parts. I'm still majorly unfit though - I got overtaken by a really old couple. The shame of it!
Tantalisingly close to the 3 stone barrier now...0 -
that is super Alexnikov, WELL DONE!
i'm getting quite excited about my friday weigh in, I feel like I'm losing.Oh joy if everything is working now!
I succoumbed to a yogurt maker yesterday, and it really is very simple. I had ow fat unsweetend apricot yogurt from a pre bought mix this lunch time and it was good.
I'm finding CC a pain now its all yahooed or whatever, nothing works quite the same, so, in radical action I have reverted to a note book food diary. Its definitely harder than just tying things into Calorie count, so if anyne else is debating and can get roung the new yahoo sign in I'd stick to that. OTOH, at least I can take a note book out with me so nothing can be forgotten.0
