You have to set a new target 7 or more lbs away from your current I believe (which sounds bizarre personally!) but yes, you can go back to paying until you reach that.
Dont' know if you saw my edit but you just add an extra HEb (I think) to maintain.0 -

Wow, that does seem a lot. But hmmm... it'd be about right. An extra HEb would be lovely - especially if it's on EE too as I really miss my bread and cereal on those days.0 -
So today I have left to eat my a HeB (20 cashew nuts) & I always have a yogurt (activia) every day as it;s good for my tum (& free). But I won't have had any syns. Ought I have something else though to have syns? Are we SUPPOSED to have syns?0
-
Syns are part of a balanced diet, and are there to stop you feeling deprived. I've often had days where I haven't had any, just because I don't want any wine and physically can't eat anymore. As long as you're not denying yourself I don't see it's a problem now and again! You could have a few extra cashews?0

I hear there will be a new food optimising book in the new year, will that be available from the body optimise site? I only follow the plan online (not that I'm really following it at the moment though!)
I'm sorry but I really don't know what you get on BodyOptimise. If you got the Food Optimising book when you joined up it's likely that you will get the option to buy the new book (it's costing £3 in group for current members).
The fees go up in January to £4.95 so if any member is thinking of buying a Countdown (pay for 5 weeks, get one free or pay for 10 and get 2 free) it would pay you to get it on the very last week of the year and save yourself some money (Martin would be proud, lol).I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

I'm glad you brought this up SC as it's one of the things that's changing (I said there were others but I'm going senile I think). If you need to change your target by just a pound or two in the future, your Consultant will just be able to change it for you on the records......no need to change by the full 7lbs.
Also you're spot on with the maintainance plan - you can have an extra HEB each day. You're a target member as long as you stay within the 3lbs above or below but it doesn't matter how often or how rarely you go to group - though I think it's easier to stay within target if you go regularly.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Oh, something to share! I've discovered a yummy alternative to batter on things like fish or toad in the hole. It doesn't sound like it should work, but it really does.
Basically, I've found that if you grate a potato (and DON'T squeeze out the moisture) and mix it together with seasoning and a small amount of beaten egg, them smother it on top of either fish or (pre-browned) sausage and cook in a medium oven for twenty minutes or more... the top goes crispy with a battery underneath. Because you don't squeeze out the water, it isn't like a rosti. And because it's not mash, it's crunchier. It's like batter, and absorbs some of the flavour of whatever is cooking underneath.
I just made it as a topping to a beef and veg casserole and it's quite like a cornish pasty! Gorgeous.0 -

Thanks consultant - I always thought 7lbs was a bit much! That's good news anyway!
Can you by a 12 week on the last week of the year? Or just the 6?0 -
Excellent news Consultant - that's made my mind up that has. I'm going to ask to be a target member from next week. Yay!0
