Hi DJD, I've only just seen this post (and your earlier one, where you sound really fed-up).
RULE 1....You cannot eat too much free food. Look at your FO book (especially the yellow/orange pages titled "Superfree foods". Everything on these pages is free on every plan so make the most of them.
It doesn't matter if you only do Green days (if you were vegetarian you wouldn't have a choice) you can lose just as much weight as on any other plan. However, on the Green plan, it really is advisable to have lots of water - a minimum of 2½ litres a day.
You must try and vary your foods as often as possible, ie try to have a different breakfast every day. Cook from scratch if you can (a slow-cooker is an absolute boon if you work long hours).
Weigh and/or measure absolutely everything that is meant to be weighed or measured....guessing won't do. Look for foods marked SS - these are superspeed and will help your weight loss.
Do make the effort to have your HEs every day - they're there to help keep you healthy and keep various parts functioning properly (IYKWIM). If you can't think what to have the second HEA on, I find 28gms of grated cheese sits nicely on a cottage pie, chilli, spaghetti bolognese or indeed most meals
Make sure you choose very low fat yoghurt, cottage cheese etc and not just lower fat. Always use Frylight to 'fry' foods in - you can do roast potatoes, parsnips etc all in this way, as well as the famous SW chips
Don't despair, if it seems not to be working it will be because you are inadvertantly doing something wrong, and as such, once we find out what that is, it can be put right
If there's anything else, just shout, there's almost always someone here to help or just have a moan atI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Can you by a 12 week on the last week of the year? Or just the 6?
You can buy either but a 12 week would save you..........ooh, lots (maths is not my thing, lol) 12 x 45p. Most mportantly, once you've paid that much up front you will commit to coming to group every week which has got to be the best way to lose the weight.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Thanks. It feels great0 -
Consultant I have been fretting all day after spotting your post re the pasta quiche no longer being free. I was so worried that you meant the Batchelors Pasta n sauce one, so was relieved to see your later post about it. That is one of our staple meals in this house.
Would you mind telling me which quiche you were referring to?
Many thanks.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

I assumed it was the pasta n sauce ones too - especially as now most of them aren't free.0

Ah yes, messed up there didn't I? I forgot to change the recipes in my documents folder, (I don't know what the syn value's going to be yet).
I'm sorry to disappoint you (well I'm disappointed too) but it is the Bachelor's Pasta n Sauce quiches that we've been using for years as free. Apparently we are eating them too often, too freely and it's affecting some people's weight losses.
My feeling has always been if it works for you carry on but cut it down a bit. If someone has lost several stones having the quches regularly, that's not going to change (but do check out the new syn values per pack as they have changed).
I think the way forward is to make sure the quiches are not extra to meals. If you have them with a salad or vegetables as a meal it's not so bad, it's when we over-eat on them that they no longer become free.
Hope this makes some sort of sense, but please remember this is just my thinking - not endorsed by SW

Thank you so much - there is never any left in our house to snack on! I have about a stone to lose so need to be extra careful about these things. Would very much appreciate you posting syn value when you know.
I only ever eat the broccoli and cheese one so would be grateful if anyone knows the new syn value for that?Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01
