    Hope these might be useful:-

Corned Beef Quiche (4 syns on Red Plan)

200g tin extra lean corned beef (4 syns),
    Onion,
    Red pepper,
    Salt & pepper,
    3 eggs,
Very low fat natural cottage cheese,
    Sliced tomatoes for top (optional)

Chop or mash down the corned beef. Cook the onion and pepper in Frylight until softened.
Layer the meat, cottage cheese and onion/pepper mix into a quiche dish.
Whisk the eggs and pour over the top. Cook in the centre of a medium oven until set and golden on top (about 40 mins).

Bacon and Sausage Quiche(Syn Free on Red)

    4-5oz Lean Bacon
    4 syn-free free sausages
    3 eggs
8oz very low fat cottage cheese
    Seasoning to taste

Slightly grill the bacon and chop it up.
Grill the sausages and slice in small rounds.
Beat the eggs and add the cottage cheese, then add the bacon and sausage.
Mix everything together and pour into a Flan dish.
Cook in a preheated oven at 200oC, 4000F or Gas Mark 6 for 15 minutes.

Quiches (Green Plan - Syn values have changed (please check):
Make up a packet of Batchelors Pasta n Sauce as directed on the packet but using only water, whisk in 3 eggs, pour into a flan dish and cook in a fairly hot oven until set (about 30-40 minutes).
Easy and really nice, especially when hot.

Syn free potato & onion quiche:
Slice cooked new potatoes and red onion in the bottom of a dish. Mix quark or cottage cheese and 3 eggs together and pour over the potato & onion. Season with black pepper and cook for about 30 minutes or until set.

Basic Quiche: Mix together 4 eggs and a tub of low fat cottage cheese-Add to whatever you like ie cooked pasta and sauce, cooked 98% fat free noodles or even Heinz mean beans then bake in the oven until firm in the middle.

I hear there will be a new food optimising book in the new year, will that be available from the body optimise site? I only follow the plan online (not that I'm really following it at the moment though!)

I'm well chuffed that they are only 3.5 syns as they seem to be one of the only treats I savour due to the popping candy:j

I guess it might be Liz3yy yes, though I think they are charging existing members £3 for it.

Maintained tonight - a little disappointed, but I guess 4 days at my FIL's wasn't the best way to lose weight!

    Hi guys

I'm just bobbing around at my current weight... I'm thinking of declaring myself at target. I'm a bit nervous though! Do you change how you do the plan when you're at target? Can you weigh in less frequently (I'm finding going to the group each week hard to fit in)? What's the weight window you're allowed to stay in? I should ask my consultant, but I'm stilling mulling the idea over myself.

Hi mina - you can stay within 3lbs above or below your stated target without paying. I think you need to go fortnightly to remain a member.
Oh and I think you add an additional HEb to maintain!

Oh, that's not bad. Any idea what would happen if you decided to lose a bit more? I've got quite a stressful time coming up and think I should focus on maintaining rather than losing... but if I feel ready to lose a bit more, is it allowed to go back on the paying plan?
