[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif] Think 3 apples in a day isn't too bad - as long as it's not every day - remember variety is the key!

stef - there are no 'convinience' soups that are free on either plan - most are HEb's though - will print a list when i find it but double check online as things change so quickly! How about my chilli bean soup a few pages back? You can freeze the excess for another few meals so no waste.

Went to Morrisons this morning and couldn't find Pagen Krisprolls ANYWHERE - gutted as I was soooo looking forward to them!

    Hi,

Yeah thats what I thought bout the soups just wanted to check on here first tho. Yeah got a couple of cans of the HEb'd soups to help me at the weekend.
Yeah the chilli bean soup does sound nice so i'll give that one a whirl

    Thanks
  • It's funny actually, we were talking about free green soups the other day (convenience ones) and there's one that I love from sainsburys be good to yourself three bean and tomato - basically really similar to SkintCatt's chilli soup mentioned before.

I've no idea how many syns it is a tin - I estimate it at 4, but you know that if you made it, it would be free. What is that all about?! Maybe chemicals or something.

  • CRiKeY! that's a lot. Still doesnt make sense as all the ingredients are pretty helfy!

Spose I'll make my own in the future then. Actually I will be making soup tonight - tomato, apple and celery. And I have a pumpkin to make more soup at the weekend. MMmmmmmmm.

I think it's all the preservatives that take the goodness out of the 'veg' in the soup - it's not as fresh as if you were to make it at home plus lots of sugar in most items that you wouldn't imagine would have sugar in!

Evening all, what a day I've had, it's been mental!!!

Despite that I've been good and been snacking on nuts instead of chocolate (only realised today though that brazil nuts are 1 syn each, doh!)

Maybe it's the weather but I'm knackered at the moment, I don't seem to have much energy and the urge to reach for chocolate is almost overwhelming! I'm resisting though.

Any tips for getting through these cold dark days?

  • Ive been drinking black coffee loaded with sweetners all day because Ive had really bad urges for chocolate and it seems to keep the cravings at bay!

    Urgh, coffee!!!
How about Highlights DARK hot chocolate? It's supposed to be a lot creamier than the milk varieties!
