  • Evening all! Have got DP making me cottage pie topped with duchesse potatoes! It is working out as about 2 syns per portion on EE. Have had another 100% day, thats 4 in a row now. Have been slightly under syns this week too, I usually have 15 but have been using about 10/12 instead.

mummy dumpling, use the scan bran as your HEB

how many syns will it be for the whole cake if I don't have a HEB left? is it 6syns for a HEB (4 scan bran and 1 weetabix) - so 10 syns total? I've cut it into 6 and eaten 2 slices already :)

    thanks :D

Yes it's 10 syns for the whole cake if not using the scan bran as a HEB. I would cut it into 5 and count 2 syns per slice for easiness.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
  • thanks consultant :) I will cut it into 5 next time I make it - but have eaten half for 5 syns and will prob finish off the rest tomorrow. its really good :D

if I try the scan bran fruit breakfast recipe I'll just syn the scan bran as I can't bear to "waste" a HEB on 2.5 syns worth of scan bran!
I'd normally use 2 syns for sugar in my morning porridge anyway so its of no real difference to me :)

I am not sure if I read that you can buy Scan Bran other than at meetings - is this so and where can you get it from?

    Thanks.

Also are meat free(?) pastansauce also free on green days?
  • Hello!

    Been a weird week.

Saw a-ha on weds so weds was an off day from SW as was in London all day.

Been a bit bad with my syns as well.

    Also a star week.

    I'm having a 100% day today

Breakfast - poached mushrooms, scrambled eggs, baked beans and two slices of whole meal toast (small slices)

Lunch - something with rice and leeks, possibly a risotto

    Dinner - aubergine pasta bake

Don't know about syns yet, I might not have any if I'm not bothered! :)
