Evening ladies.
Lost 4lbs tonight!! I'm so chuffed.
I've also made the MOST gorgeous chickpea cake by substituting the granulate Splenda for a slug of sugar free rum syrup (from a diabetic/sugar free online shop) and 28g of raisins (4 syns). It's absolutely lush!0 -
Whoop! Well done mina!0

Hi all.
Well done Mina - I would love a loss like that rather than chipping off a lb a week - if that!
Wouldn't make the butternut squash soup again but I ate it! And I've got another 2 portions to eat up. Oh well - you have to try something new now and again don't you?
Spoiled it a bit by eating up the fish in batter DS left - which bought my sins up to 17. Bit high!August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -
Only lost 1.5lbs - thats pretty rubbish for a first week loss
Well done to all the other losers! You have done FAB!0 -
Hi franby - what's up with the soup? Anything you could add to the rest of it to improve? Not overly keen on BNS at the best of times so can't think, but someone else might know!

Well dont to all the other losers!
but it's a loss!:j
We had a chap tonight who was also disappointed with his first weeks loss. Our consultant said that sometimes losses take a while to show - and if you have another good week on top of the last good week it'll continue to show (and it does-just as a bad week catches up with you)
The first time I did SW (nearly 8 years ago ) I lost 0.5lb in my first week and was totally devestated. Criedmy eyes out in front of a packed "New Years resolution" class. But I stuck with it and lost 4.5lbs in my second wk (and 3.5stone in 5 months!)
Stick with it hun and you'll do grand!:grouphug:
