No I don't think it will jenni - it's still a restricted amount of something you probably would have have had much more of - it's just it doesn't have QUITE enough fibre to make the SW HEb list - really don't worry - I'm sure people have made bigger mistakes than a differnt type of brown bread - plus it's still a small loaf and is WW!0

Dont worry I dont think it will affect it unless youve been eating loads of it, if youve still been having 2 slices as a heb then it will still be withing the 6 syns (heb is usually around 6 syns) it just wont speed up your loss or have enough fbre. I lost my bulk of weight (before I put it back on
) eating the malted one as I also thought it was a heb. I was still losing 2-3lbs every week. I now prefer the Hovis wholemeal one, the one in the yelow pack. Its not as thin, so its doesnt disintegrate when you make toast, and I think it tastes better in a sandwich.

Hi everyone,
I've created a table to give to my mum to help her learn the differences between the plans but I've come into a bit of confusion myself about it.
I know that you can have dairy (Quark, FF natural yog/cottage cheese/fromage frais) free on all the plans. But what about yogurt itselfBy that I mean Muller light's/FF Danone Shape feel fuller for longer/FF Activia?
I presumed that they were free but had a look in my FO book in the sysns pages and it says their one?
I've been eating a yog every day!
Plus, am I right in thinking potatoes aren't free on a red day unless their synned or HEB?

muller light, lasting satisfaction and FF activia are free, yes - along with some other own brand.
Don't forget the cottage cheese/fromage frais etc needs to be VERY low fat or fat free to be free otherwise they have syns!
You are correct about potato's - plus they have to be weighed.0 -
Most Mullers bar a few (fruit corners, layers etc) are free on ALL plans, most fat free ones such as shape lasting satisfaction and activia fat free are also free.
Some fat free ones are not free though so its worth checking. I think if your going to do a table, which I think is a great idea, then have a look onine and list as many free yoghurts as you can.
And yes potatoes are a syn on red unless as a heb with skins on.Hi everyone,

Hi Skint Catt. Thanks for the help
I thought that the yogs were. Yeah we always buy the FF cottage cheese and fromage frais so that they don't have to be synned.
In the food optomsing book in the syns section under dairy then yogurt and fromage frais it says yogurt, fat free fruit/flavoured, per 100g 0.5 syns on red and green. Underneath it says fat free natura, free on both red and green
Great thanks for that - I can print off my table now knowing that its correct

Excellent just what I thought. Yeah thats one of the reasons why I dn't buy fruit corners and layers - would rather just stick to muller light which I know are free.
I only really like Muller lights, FF shape lasting satifaction and FF activas so i'll just put them on the table so that my mum knows only to get one of them.
Grand, thanks for that - not a fan of red days anyway! lol

It's possibly things like own brands (sometimes they're free, sometimes they're not!)

1lb off for me last night :j very happy after gaining 3wks in a row and having a small slip up involving trick or treat chocs on sat and a McDs on sunday
just glad to break the upwards trend and hoping to lose another 1lb next week
can anyone confirm that if you have chicken chow mein on a green day you can swap 6 syns for a HEB? (like you can with a readymade wholemeal sandwich for eg) It would be really handy to know that if you're running low on syns you can have a 1syn takeaway!thanks xx
Mum of 7 (aged 14y to 1y)
loving SW - 5st off and counting! :j0 -
Hmm not sure as it's probably cooked in oil - plus you'd have to take it out of the chow mein to weigh it! Personally I've synned the lot inthe past0
