I had the broccoli and pasta dish which was featured in the 40th Aniversary mag, last month. I looked for smoked cheese in the shop but it cost a lot so used ordinary cheddar with a half tsp of smoked paprika instead. It was really lovely. I made half the amount of the recipe. I t would be nice with salad.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

Thanks skintt catt, I am trying mainly to stick to all green days. I really dont like eggs, but I can tolerate scrambled or boiled. I hated the quorn sausages, and dont like baked beans, or the sauce they are in. I can just eat the beans though!
I have added cooked baked potato without skin, (saving that for later) to my breakfast omelette, but I am certain I will get fed up with it.
What's Marion's rice all about, I have seen it referred to lots.0 -
Morning all. I changed groups and now weigh in on Mondays instead of Thursdays, not sure how it will affect weights over the next couple of weeks but im sure it will even out soon. I lost 2lb this week. Im quite chuffed, but I ate a whole tub of Ben and Jerrys Half baked last night...yes a whole tub :eek:. I saw it cheap in Morrisons and I really fancied somehting naughty and gooey, theres no way I was puting it down. Thats the only real slip up Ive had in the last week though. Ill go and do some excercise today to combat the cookie dough heading to my hips.
Going to go for a green day I think, ive had Extra easy the last 3 days. I think ill make baked bean lasagne or quorn spag bol, havnt decided but the kids love both so ill let them choose tonight.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
